How can I permanently delete personal data from iPhone before selling

I have a old iPhone 4s and want to change a new iPhone 6s plus, I want to sell the old iphone 4s but I really worry that some technical guy could retreive my sensitive data from my iPhone although I 've delete them,# can my data like messages, contacts, photos be easily recovered by data recovery app?# how can I do to make my data never be recovered?

Smart-playlist rotating Episodes from different Shows

Hello my iLounge friends,

I like to know if the following is possible to create with a Smart-playlist?
I have different seasons of cartoon shows, from DuckTales to Lego Chima.
The idea I like to have is a Playlist that the kids can watch over the weekend with a mixture of shows, when watched the playlist will Live update with the next Episode. Also jump season when the Season is completed

In example

Playlist first watch:
DuckTales Season 1 Episode 1
Mixels Season 1 Episode 1
Star Wars Rebels Season 1 Episode 1
Lego Chima Season 1 Episode 20
Scooby Doo Where are you Season 1 Episode 1
etc...

After watching these it will update to:
DuckTales Season 1 Episode 2
Mixels Season 1 Episode 2
Star Wars Rebels Season 1 Episode 2
Lego Chima Season 2 Episode 1

etc...

Would this be possible? With what rules?

i just got my ipad.... but i can not remember my Apple ID account.

i got it last night. i was trying to download the facebook app and it asked for my email and apssword. like an idiot i put in my facebook password....WRONG! it needed my APPLE ID password. i can not remember it. i even tried to create a new account with my email, it said it already has an existing account with that email. i went on my computer this morning tried to reset it it asked for my name and email. http://ift.tt/1W0Vu3R i can not even remember that name i have with my email. my email is the ONLY thing about my account i remember.

computer does not recognize ipod

Not long ago, I could transfer pictures and videos from my computer to my iPod Touch using Explorer. Now I cannot. Neither Windows XP or Windows 7 Explorer will recognize the iPod. iTunes seems to work ok. Computer does not recognize it as a device.

Problem synching new ipod

I have itunes which is filled with thousands of songs many of which are on my ipod. I have just got a different ipod classic and want to keep exactly the same songs on it that were on my previous ipod. I thought it would be a case of connecting it and then it would just do the job. However itunes recognizes the ipod and the size of it and the fact it is empty but does nothing else. What do I need to do to transfer what was on my old ipod to this one?

Blu ray MP4 question.

I really do not know where to put this. i was on a tech support board but lost/forgotten my passord and now they have a conformation test i can't do.
but anyrate, i have a Phillips Blu Ray player with USB port. and i have Divx movie files on a ADATA port drive thats connected to it. the things is we might be moving soon and we might have to leave all electronics behind and get new ones when we move. my question is can Divx video files work on other brands of blu ray players besides just Phillips? or is that a Phillips thing that only Philips product can play?the Divx files also work on my computer which is Hewltr Packard (i cant spell that, not even sure if thats the name or not but it say HP on it. and i have Windows 7. BUT i also hooked it into the back of the Cablemas box (Cable box with a USB port) and it doesn't support DIVX. What kind of Blu Ray player with USB port will i have to get that supports DIVX files?

Deauthorizing

I own three computers and iTunes says I have four authorized. The reason is that one became unusable and I could not deauthorize it. When it got repaired I authorized it before realizing I should have deauthorized first. Now my only option seems to be to deauthorize all. What does that do ,if anything , to the other computers? Do I lose anything? Do my purchases get erased? What else could happen? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Sound quality ipod vs itunes?

Sorry if this question has been asked a million times but is the qulaity on the ipod supposed to be different from itunes please?

I record on itunes at 224 kbps as I THOUGHT that this level seems to provide the best medium between lossless recording of CDs and space utilisation on ipods.
But I have now become aware that there seems to be a significant loss of dynamic range between plugging headphones into the computer and playing the same piece on my ipod.

I cant find any setting any more for "Convert higher bit rate songs to AAC" (yes, I am mostly ripping from CD of course) so does anyone know how i can upgrade the sound on my ipod a bit please?

iPod 2G DIGITIZER PROBLEMS

I've tried three different 2G DIGITIZERS but only the cracked original works!?

The third DIGITIZER was from a totally different source, but it too does not respond.

This iPod appears normal in all other respects. I tried to 'reset' the iPod, but can't with any of the new DIGITIZERS?

Itunes Not Syncing to Ipod

Hi, I am sure this has been asked many times before, but I have searched the net and cannot find the answer....

I originally had my itunes library on a desktop running WXP. A while ago that PC died. I removed the internal HD and made that into an external hard drive that I now run through my W7 laptop. I reinstalled itunes to the Laptop, and managed to transfer all the files over from the external drive to the laptop.
(I am no PC wizard, and was quite proud of doing that ). Today i put some new songs on the itunes library, and transferred some of those songs to some existing playlists. I then connected my 80GB ipod Classic as usual. The ipod said it was syncing, and my device showed up in the itunes window. BUT, after the sync was complete and I disconnected the ipod, none of the new music was transferred to my ipod. I tried this several times, even trying different USB leads...but still nothing. Can anybody help me please ?. My itunes version is 11.0.2.26.

iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPod [HELP!!!]

Hi guys. So I know it's a common problem already, but still I'm so desperate and I need your help in this! :(

iTunes shows this message whenever I plug in my iPod into the laptop: "iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPod. Go to the Summary tab in iPod preferences and click Restore to restore this iPod to factory settings"
And when I eject the iPod, it shows 0 songs or No Music but the data is still there as nothing changed in the amount of GB occupied.

This has already happened to me before, and I don't wanna restore it again bc I already had too many songs and I'm hoping that there might be other ways to solve this.

I've searched for diff. solutions and tried the ff:
1. hard reset
2. reinstalling iTunes
3. installing iFunbox but my device isn't detected :(
4. renaming itunes library.itl to itunes library (corrupted).itl
5. connecting my iPod to another laptop
6. deleting 2 songs from the iPod_Control/Music

I don't really have a problem with restoring the iPod if that's my last resort, but is there any way I can recover the playcounts and the playlists of my library? I've read somewhere that these info are stored in the Previous iTunes Libraries and I still have them in my iTunes folder, so is there a way for me to get them back? How can I copy my music library from the iPod to iTunes, considering they cannot be read by iTunes?

itunes very slow or not responding

My itunes library is very large, over 15K songs. Recently, my itunes library is very slow to respond or task manager will say it is not responding. I think this occurred after the last itunes update, but I dont know if this is causing the problem. I have not had a problem with itunes previously, even with my large library. I have disabled Genius and signed out of the itunes Store. Has anyone else had this problem? Please help.

2 iPods need iTunes BUT

iTunes was working great holding 40 GB of teaching/music. But :(

while I loaned my desktop, Windows 7 ultimate, to my friend while

I was away, an automatic iTunes update or two or three occurred

(I was gone for 6 months). Also while on loan my PC crashed and I

was left with this problem. I have a backup, but with it iTunes

can't find the actual music that goes with the playlists listed

on the left pane. Here's the details:

I have a separate backups of several dates of the .itl and the

.xml files, but no matter what version of iTunes I download,

these data files show me only the playlists but don't tell iTunes

where to find the music that matches them. My iTunes Music folder

is 40 GB large. So, they are in there somewhere because I always

copy the source file when I add them into iTunes.
Playlists are all there on the left but the music on the right is

not placed under the right playlists. I think the iTunes version

was 10.7 or 11.3 that last worked but now downloading those and

using those saved .itl and .xml files won't fix this problem.

I've tried every combo I can think of but no success. I'm missing

40 GB of great teaching and music!

I've searched to find someone who knows how to look into the XMl

file to see what ver. of iTunes it matches with but so far no

results. This is so frustrating.

I'm sure someone a lot smarter than me knows how to fix this---

Pls help.

I've also tried several times to join the Apple iTunes forum but

cannot get registered as a user. Sign up page keeps asking for

info I've already typed in, so I can't post there.

Hardest Game on the App Store

I have been playing this game called clicking clocks for a few days now and it is so hard. All you have to do is tap when the clock hands are touching each other but it is so hard to do. This game ####es me off but i can't seem to put it down lol. Anyone else been playing this game too?

IPOD 3G with "DCF" FORMATTING?

I'm a new member and I hope you can help me!

I have a iPod 3G, A1318, 32GB I recently purchased 'as-is'.

The problem is that it's FORMATTED in "DCF"! Nothing I've tried allows me to reformat this iPod/drive.

The only way I can 'see' this iPod is with Windows 10 (64 bit) 'File Explorer'. It shows a 32GB drive, but it also shows it's FORMATTED with DCF with NO apparent operating system or folders ~ so 32GB appears to be free. A right-click on that drive offers no option to format/reformat.

Interesting that traditional methods to reset this iPod and access iTunes to restore do not work?

I should also add that the iPod screen is 'white' and that is understandable with no Apple Operating System.

I CAN access and record to this iPod with COPYTRANS, but the only way to play the recordings is with COPYTRANS.

Also nothing else I've tried allows me to access/format this iPod! I have tried Windows Partition Manager, Paragon Partition Manager, EASUS Data Recovery Pro, Hard Drive Inspector Pro and EASUS Partition Master Technician. I also tried CopyTrans Doctor and Acronis Disk Director Suite, but none of these programs even "see" the iPod!

I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer and I would love to have this iPod back in service.

1. Brave Frontier
This RPG is one the mainstream in mobile gaming. The sound and graphics gives you nostalgia and takes you back to the old JRPGs but that doesn't mean it's just as good as the old ones. As a fan of FF series, I really like it's turn based gameplay, unique character designs, and their respective skills.

2. Game of Dice(New!)
It has the same mechanics of Monopoly but with a combination of Skill Cards, cute Character design/graphics, and even the dice you rolled have a variety of design and stats that can help you win in this rpg board game. What I really like about this is game it depends significantly on RNG and you will have very nice starting skill cards right at the beginning of the game helping you to catch up fast with other players and even beat higher level opponents even you just started the game if you're lucky and just play it right. This is the game I'm currently playing a lot on my iPad.

3. Summoner War
This is a monster evolution collection game with a nice pvp and challenging dungeons to explore. I think what’s truly amazing about this game is it has a fair amount of offer to everyone. You can pay to win, you can play a lot to win, and you can play smart to win. Of course, if you do all 3 you’ll become one of the best.

My upcoming podcast

Hey!
I'm about to start a new podcast 'How long have I been there?', i will be talking about general questions people have, such as relationships, education, drugs. I feel as though I have had quite a bit of life experience, even though I'm 21, and have strong opinions which i would like to put across through the podcast.
I would just like some tips and some of your opinions on my new podcast show and if you can help me in anyway.
As I've said i will be covering general questions and putting across my opinion. I feel as though it should be an over 18s show just because of some of the topics I will be covering and i do tend to swear a little, so my target audience will be around 18 to 35 year olds.
At first I think I will be recording my podcasts and uploading them through an app on my phone until it becomes more popular.

Something weird happened with my Itrip

Yesterday while in the driveway I set my Itrip to play youtube videos for my kids on the same radio signal i always use with my Itrip. My wife was in a seperate vehicle behind me in the driveway which was ironically set to the same radio station and she could hear everything I was playing clear as day through the car radio. Is this the case of maybe this happening due to us being on the same wifi or is this something I need to be worried about?

iPad 1st Gen, syncing a max of 60 videos?

Is this correct? I am syncing Movies to my iPad 1st Gen, 64GB and it only displays a maximum of 60 videos. iTunes displays that I'm syncing 75 videos in my Playlist but only the first 60 displays on the iPad. If I delete 15 videos from the beginning and sync, the last 15 would display on the iPad, hence the reason I believe there's a max limit of 60 videos that can be synced.

Can anyone verify this?

what ipad to get.

i was talking with my mom. we were talking about getting an apple ipod. i dont know much about them except they are Apple. and i trust Apple. now i inherited a used samsung tb 3 that is rapidly draining battery power. now if i get an ipad i was gonna use it for internet and put some music on there. but just complete albums. few things i want to know about the Apple ipad is does it have a USB port? does it have itunes? is it possable to put at least 1983 songs on there? my ipod has 148 GB capacity. how much GB does an ipad have? i have exactly 6207 songs on my ipod. and some videos. but i only plan to put about 1983 songs on the ipad. which are all from complete albums. and another thing when playing an album on the ipad does it have a 2 second pause in between each song or do the songs sync together like when i play a Pink Floyd album (in which one song syncs into another on most of thier albums) will there be a pause break in between songs? or will it play just like itunes or the ipod and sync the songs together?

CD download speed

Have windows 8.1 and a relatively new machine. With my first couple of CD downloads to Itunes, I was getting speeds somewhere in the range of 14X to 16X and so on. Now, when I try to load a CD in I get speeds of 1.8X and slower. Any thoughts on what could be causing the change in speed?

Yeah another sync issue but hopefully and easy one

I have a new laptop with the newest version of Itunes. I have an old 160 gb Ipod that I thought was done - turns out it's fine but the USB wasn't working on the old laptop. So I bought a brand new 160gb never been opened. NEITHER sync to Itunes now. I have authorized the computer and, as I said, it's a new version of Itunes. If someone can help I would really be appreciative:bigmugobeer:. I love my music and my Ipod!

Itunes 12 - Has the ability to delete multiple artwork gone?

Hi Folks,

Using the latest version of Itunes for Windows and ive noticed that unlike the previous versions there does not seem to be an option to delete mutiple album art at once?

In previous versions you could tick/untick a box to remove album art as part of a block, however when you select mutiple tracks this time i notice you can only add art.

Thats fine, however when i make the change, i notice that a lot of the tracks will revert back to the original art after a short while or after an icloud library update, (assume its match which i am subscribed to or they have been uploaded etc).

I have circa 400 tracks under a sole album artist that i simply want to blank all the artwork, re-dowload it, (or add manually in the case that it is not available).

Deleting the tracks and re-installing etc isnt really the answer, there surely is an easier way to correct this?

Syncing ipod classic

I have two iPod classics with the same 3215 songs on each. When I tried to sync and charge one iPod yesterday I got a message that 167 songs did not sync. The songs appear and function perfectly on the iPod. The problem is with the computer. The information is all there but the music cannot be found or played. How do I proceed? Can this music be found? I have the option to locate but I have no idea how or where to begin. Is it going to be necessary to reinstall all this music?

Another issue I have is about another computer that has been wiped clean due to issues upgrading to Windows 10. Can my music be copied from my iPod or from one of my other computers back on to this newly repaired computer? If so how do I proceed? Thank you for your help,

Game Pass glitch?

During the set up process with the new Apple TV, I installed the NFL app and then tried to "reauthorize" my Game Pass purchase. I get a "your Game Pass purchase has been verified" message and then go back to the screen that says, "you need to reauthorize your Game Pass purchase"....infinite loop.

I have contacted customer support at Apple and been given instructions to delete the app and re-install it. Then go through the process of re-authorizing my Game Pass purchase. Haven't done it yet. Not at home. Just not that confident that will be an effective solution and wanted to know if anyone else had experienced this "glitch" yet.

Any thoughts?

USB wires

i recently solved my speaker problem i bout a speaker that works through an earphone jack. sounds great.
i wanted to buy a back up USB cord in case this one should tear in accident. i bout what LOOKED like a USB cord for my ipod but the connecter that connects to the ipod would not fit. it looks like a normal USB cord, so i dont know why.... except maybe it has something to do with the fact it says "dupli max" on the connecter??
another thing i heard was this Apple ipod cords are getting obsolete. Please tell me thats not true. I live in Cozumel, Mexico. and those cords are VERY scarce! how can i tell if i see a USB cord how will i know its the one for an Apple ipod Classic?

How to watch movies/series on iPhone 6s plus?

I do enjoy movies on the go and with an OTG cable a USB loaded with series/movies its simply plug in and watch on Note 3.
I don't think its that simple with Apple, how can I watch movies on an iphone 6s plus? Or everything has to be synced via iTunes - unless that's changed now.

I hv BitTorrent v installed on my laptop.
I download movies/series on the laptop and transfer it onto a USB. With the use of an OTG cable I can watch it on my Note 3.

The sales lady at iStore showed me an iFlash Drive that hs the lighting port on the one side & a USB slot on the other. She claims that if I insert the my USB loaded with movies, it should play the movie.

Others said it has to synced via iTunes. Some mentioned to download an app called infuse
