Find all video podcasts?

I have a lot of podcasts downloaded and only want audio. I know a few videos have slipped in but I'd rather not open each podcast title and scroll through looking for a TV icon. There's got to be a better way to get a list of all video podcasts so I can delete them at once! But is there?

Database list 'snaps' to places I don't want it to be.

#1, thank GOD that I found a non-apple branded forum! There are too many topics that are taboo with them. It appears that's not the case here. I'm so glad I found this site.

#2 iTunes drives me nuts. I've got a fairly large music library of ripped CDs that I've collected for years and years. In organizing this large database, I'll often listen to music (played by iTunes)

Problem is: When the song ends, as it starts the next tune, the database snaps to the now-playing song! It's super annoying when I'm a mile down the list, re-naming and organizing elsewhere in the list. HOW DO I STOP IT?

Somewhat related issue:
Let's say I'm in list-view of the database (iTunes library) and I'm adding comments to my mp3s. Every time I finish one comment, I hit enter to exit typing mode, and BAM! the list snaps so that the song I'm working on is at the top of the list! It's not related to last modified etc. It seems to do this wherever I'm working on the database, and no matter how it's sorted. It's super annoying to have to scroll back, or sometimes, it's just more comfortable to work at the bottom of the list/screen.

Any tips about how to stop this?

Getting Podcast on iTunes for free

Hi everyone! I'm a member of the SYAKcast, also known as 'Stuff You Already Knew.' We're a pretty new podcast, and just recently made our work available on iTunes.

We don't have a lot of money, so we had to figure out how to do it for completely free, which was difficult for quite some time.

We never found a simple enough video to help us, so once we figured it out I thought it would be helpful to make this video to help anyone also trying to podcast for free.

panasonic audio system will not play my ipod.

Its been a long time since i posted i have had some good luck with my ipod, i ve learned how to mange my music and videos manualy (but for some reason you cant do pictures that way you can only sync them, oh well, very minor thing) i have experienced a new problem. I have had a Panasonic sound system HC-SC28 for a year and a half. it worked great until now..... my Panasonic has a USB port for my apple ipod. i had it for 1 year and a half. worked great till last night. now when i hook it up the indecator says "no play". its not the wire because i had wires die out on me and it would say "no device" but no, the ipod recgognozes its pluged in to a power scourse, its just the system's indecator says "no play" and no sound is coming out. it only works with earphones but not through the Panasonic. Do you think its my ipod? My ipod classic is 4 years old now. i just hope its nothing serious. Its been a long time (i think over a year since i posted here) but now i'm desperate. could yall please help??:(:(

Ipod classic "cannot read or sync" message

I have not used Ipod thru MAC for a while. When I did I get the "cannot sync" message. I have my music library but it plays random tracks not the Playlist I am using.
MAC has been a PITA after Mavericks but maybe I just need to tweak something?

It's running really slow

My 1st-gen Apple TV is really slow. Menu selections are sluggish. Videos simply won't play. They try to start, then lose the audio and seize up. Sync runs, but takes way longer than it used to.

If it were a computer (yeah, I know, it is), I'd say the CPU was running slow, background processes were clogging it up, or memory was paging too much. That's the way it looks. Everything is there, just gets bogged down.

I've tried powering it off and on a number of times - no change.

Any ideas?

Video files- Pixelation after video is sent??

My friend has a iPhone 4s, iOS 7.1.1, I have the 5s, iOS 7.1.2.

He takes short videos (1min to 3min 40s in length) using his iPhone and no attachments in bright light. They are "macro" in that the subjects are often close up, but not out of focus.

He then texts them to me. Some of them are quite spectacular, file sizes ranging from 6megs to 16megs. The total bit rate on the movies range from 500-880 kbps.

However, recently he sent me some longer ones that were about 3min, but the file size is only 1.2 megs or so, and the total bit rates were only 40-43 kbps. There was no clipping.

It's not due to video length or size, because I checked some older vids, about 1 min in length, and some of those have low bit rates as well.

What I don't understand are the following:

1. The user is only pressing record for all the videos, why are the bit rates sometimes good (resulting in great vids), and sometimes so low there is pixelation preventing the viewer from figuring out what the video is (low bit rate) ??

2. How come the low bit rate vids look on my friend's phone, but not on mine?

All the user is doing is pressing record and stop. I don't recall which camera he used, the front or rear facing camera. Either way, he's used the same camera for all videos I'm told.

IPod 1stGen Screen/Battery Issue ???

My IPod 16GB 1stGen has two grey ghost battery figures displayed side by side on the screen and I don't know what it is or how to remove them ... they are blocking mhy ability to use the keyboard and viewing.

Disassociate an iPhone

I am having all sorts of problems with syncing photos and contacts between my iPhone and my iPad. I thought I'd got a solution but unfortunately another problem has arise after following instructions from a friend. I am now wondering if I dis-associate my iPhone from my iTunes account and then re-associate from scratch, it would therefore force the iPhone to sync with the iPad anew and hopefully will sort out the problems I'm experiencing. Would I also have to disassociate the iPhone on the iCloud too? I'm getting to the end of my tether with it and just want it all to work as it should! Thanks for any help.

iPad Air 2 - Cases and Stands Help

Hi. I bought an iPad Air 2 and am interested in opinions on Griffin's Survivor case and Otterbox's Defender Series case. Which is better? The new Otterbox Defender Series case looks slimmer but I'm interested in hearing opinions.

I'm also looking for a big-### stand for my protected iPad Air 2. Something that'll hold it and stay upright on the passenger seat next to the driver's seat.

iPod Touch 2nd Generation Bluetooth

I see the bluetooth on/off in settings for the iPod 2nd Generation....will this work on a bluetooth speaker like Bose etc....or is it just there for the Nike+, as I've read in other articles.....Thanks....PS...I'm waiting on a small bluetooth speaker to be delivered early next week and may be able to answer my own question, as well as others....for the adapter on other models....

Windows 7 iTunes Has Stopped Working

I am using a HP Laptop running Windows 7 and have installed iTunes 12.1.2. and it does run without my iPhone5S connected. But once I connected my phone to iTunes, I get the following message :

"iTunes has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notifty you if a solution is available."

How can I fix this problem so I can be able to use iTunes with my phone connected, I need to do a backup and it won't let me. Please help!

XML does not show in File>Library>Import

I'm trying to import a previous iTunes playlist from an external HD, and the XML does not show in File>Library>Import. ("All files" appears in the Import window.)

Seven iTunes Music Library.xml files show in the same folder in File Explorer.

Does anyone know why the xml files would not show in the Import window?

personal iphone texts, calls coming through on work phone - how to turn off?

I have set up my personal phone to include my work Outlook account for messages, contacts etc. But recently the information is going the other way - my personal texts and calls are coming through on my work phone!! Charger query

I have an Ipod Classic, which uses the same size plug....that's the white plug that fits into the iPad and iPod.

Find my iPhone with no phone signal?!

My iPhone has had trouble connecting to foreign networks recently. I've called EE and they have said they have fixed it, but they can't know for sure until I'm next abroad, when it will be too late. I cycle in my leisure time and my wife likes to know that she can at least find me using the Find my Iphone feature if I have an accident!

On my last trip to Italy, France, Switzerland, the phone could see networks manually, but would refuse to connect to them. However, it was geo-tagging pictures, i.e. it was clearly having some kind of handshake with local networks as it was able to record where I had taken a photograph.

Can anyone tell me please whether this might mean that the "find my Iphone" feature will still work even if I'm unable to connect properly to the signal to make calls or receive data?

iPhone can't complete restore

Hello! I recently used iBackupBot to delete the large amount of text attachments eating up my iPhone's memory from a fresh backup. I deleted all the little subfolders in the "Attachments" folder that contained the media, but I did not delete the actual Attachments folder itself. However, when I try to restore my iPhone with the backup I deleted the attachments from, it nears completion and then the phone freezes and restarts. The phone itself is old and has been getting increasingly buggy (it's an iPhone 5), so freezing isn't uncommon, but it's strange that it can't even do a restore without having to restart itself. Could this be related to the deleted attachments?

Looking for an iOS app with a specific feature.

Hi all.

I listen to a lot of podcasts that I wish to listen to in the order they were transmitted, from the start of the podcast.

Is there an iOS app where I can ask it to play podcasts in old to new order, and to download the X number oldest unplayed podcasts, so I will always have the next X podcasts to listen to when I am offline.

The apple iOS app doesn't allow this, and as far as I can see, neither does instants or overcast.

Podcast Analytics - Suggestions?

Hi all! Relatively inexperienced podcaster here, but big audio nerd and very capable with editing/recording.

I recently started working for a nonprofit with a fledgling podcast - only 3 episodes and currently hosted on soundcloud. I've been assigned to do some "reviving" of the podcast; maybe not content-wise, but specifically in terms of setting it up for the best possible analytics options. As it is, I've signed up for Feedburner and have a free account on Blubrry. I've also checked out Soundcloud pro as an option; tempting, but I don't know that it's what we're looking for. Given that we're a non-profit, a free service would be very much preferred.

So, I'd like to ask your suggestions. These are the specific data points we'd like to see:

- Subscribers/downloads of content as well as "abstracts" of these data; for example, did someone listen and not subscribe? Did someone download and subscribe?
- Going off of downloads - we'd like to know who's downloading our RSS link and (if possible) what client they are feeding it into. Our current idea on this topic is to use bit.ly, but that only gives us numbers and sources rather than where the files are headed.
- The general data of plays, downloads, reach, etc., but perhaps not "estimated" as feedburner seems to be.

I'd love to hear your thoughts, thank you all in advance! I appreciate your expertise!

5th Gen not recognized on itunes?

Hey

A friend of mine was given an ipod 5th Gen several years ago, and no longer has contact with the former owner. Tonight he asked me to take some old business seminars off the ipod, and put some music on it, but when I connect it to my Windows laptop and start up itunes, it's not being recognized as a device at all.. I assume this is because it's still connected to the former owners itunes account....

It's still on 'version 1.3' if that makes any difference...

Is there any way to reset this thing, or somehow make it recognized in my itunes so that I can add music to it for my friend, or is this thing a useless brick?

This concept creation comes from Mesut G. Designs, and offers an intriguing taster for an iPhone 7 Edge. It also uses an Iron Man theme, interesting as Samsung recently came up with an Iron Man Edition of the Galaxy S6 Edge. The iPhone 7 Edges handset has a build that looks pretty solid with metal and glass. You can see the curved edges on both sides and some nice tapering to the top of the device.

The rear camera is positioned in the center rather than to one side, and there are six large speakers holes and a nano SIM slot on the bottom edge. As well as this there’s a 3-in-1 port for audio jack, PC connection, and charging. As you might expect the edges can show notifications, and this iPhone 7 Edges also offers some more neat features. There’s a virtual Home button for instance, and users would control the volume by swiping up or down on the screen’s edges.

As for specs, they include an Apple A9 processor, 5.5-inch Ultra High Definition display (4K) with Ion-X glass, 4GB of RAM, and 32, 64 or 128GB of internal storage. It packs a 20-megapixel rear camera with two-lens system DSLR quality, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and has a battery size of between 3300 mAh and 3500 mAh. Of course it would be running iOS 9, and the designer has even given an estimated price of this iPhone 7 Edge vision of $600 to $700.

Everything is OK, and I'm EXACTLY Where I Need to be Rigth Now (A Podcast)

My name is Steb, and I love to travel. I'm an inherent nomad who just refuses to stay put. A free spirit who refuses to do anything less than live life to the fullest.

There are many reasons I love travel, but the greatest of these reasons is the amount of perspective that traveling can give. Each person you meet on your journey has a unique story to tell. Every person has their own set of lessons and skills that they can pass on. From those lessons and skills you can learn and grow. I want nothing more than to grow and grow and grow until I've become the best human I can possibly be.

That said, this should have been the worst trip of my life. I initially chose to come to Central America for an 18 day gathering in the jungles of Panama. On the second day, I lost my wallet in the ocean. On the seventeenth day, my passport was stolen along with my phone and my money. I should have gone home but I chose instead to stay in Central America.

Here I am, four months later, still in Central America. What was supposed to be an 18 day vacation has turned into what is nothing short of a life changing whirlwind of events. I ran out of money multiple times, I slept on beaches for over a month, and I can't tell you how many times I've gone without eating (or survived on nothing but rice and beans), but I'm still here. I'm still traveling. I'm learning more about myself than I ever thought possible. I'm stronger now than I ever was. I'm a better person now than I ever was. The trials and triibulations of this trip should have made me want to quit, but instead I perservered, and now I'm better than I ever have been before.

This is just the synopsis of my trip. The more layers of the onion I unravel the more enthralling and inspring this story becomes.

I want my friends and family back home to hear my story, but it's hard for me to convey every single detail via text in messages and on social media.

This gave me the idea for this podcast. Here's the premise:

I know I'm far from the only traveler with a story to tell, so I want to interview other travelers that I have barely met. Part of the podcast will be spent getting to know each other. The interviewee will first tell their story, and then I'll tell mine. We'll be telling each other our stories for the first time, so our friends and family back home can hear our stories from our own mouths as if we are telling it to them for the very first time.

I hope that my story inspires others, and I hope that I am inspired by some of the stories I hear. I hope to have meaningful experiences with these people. I want to grow and help others grow.

Storing Music on SD card

I've just bought a 128GB SD card for my macbook pro retina mid 2014 13" and when i download music from to it and try and add it to iTunes rather then use the file on the SD card it copies it onto the mac hard drive. witch makes the SD card pretty much pointless as i only bought it to conserve space on my mac is there a way to make iTunes use the file on the SD card

5th Gen not compatible with Sharp GM X10

So i recently bought a sharp GM X10. I find out that the stereo is not compatible with 5th gen ipod video, however it is compatible with 6th gen (classic). What gives? Is it a hardware thing or a software thing? What can i do to make it work? Is there something i can do to make the 5th Gen think it's a 6th Gen?
