iPhone can't complete restore

Hello! I recently used iBackupBot to delete the large amount of text attachments eating up my iPhone's memory from a fresh backup. I deleted all the little subfolders in the "Attachments" folder that contained the media, but I did not delete the actual Attachments folder itself. However, when I try to restore my iPhone with the backup I deleted the attachments from, it nears completion and then the phone freezes and restarts. The phone itself is old and has been getting increasingly buggy (it's an iPhone 5), so freezing isn't uncommon, but it's strange that it can't even do a restore without having to restart itself. Could this be related to the deleted attachments?
