Disassociate an iPhone

I am having all sorts of problems with syncing photos and contacts between my iPhone and my iPad. I thought I'd got a solution but unfortunately another problem has arise after following instructions from a friend. I am now wondering if I dis-associate my iPhone from my iTunes account and then re-associate from scratch, it would therefore force the iPhone to sync with the iPad anew and hopefully will sort out the problems I'm experiencing. Would I also have to disassociate the iPhone on the iCloud too? I'm getting to the end of my tether with it and just want it all to work as it should! Thanks for any help.
