Memory: iOS 3, iOS 4 and iOS 5

Hi there,



Some time ago I wanted to downgrade my 1st gen iPad to iOS 3.2 when I realized such was not possible. (I do have the blobs back to 4.1 beta, but that's it.)



But I was still curious. After a fresh reboot of the OS, how much memory do you all report under:

• iPhone OS 3.2.x


• iOS 4.3.x


• iOS 5.1.1


• Other (state OS and any memory widgets you may be using), along with device model

I'm assuming that SBSettings is installed to report the free memory. Mine reports roughly 98-110MB after a restart. If an app crashes that uses a LOT of memory, I might see 134MB free but only for a short time, as it dips down to 12x, then 11x, then right around 98 or so.

Missing Songs

Im new to this all so sorry for the lack of proper lingo. Heres the issue.



All my songs are still on my ipod, but not showing up in iTunes.

My laptop recognizes that the ipod is connected.

I cant put any new songs on the ipod.

All my songs have since been deleted of the laptop (error on my wifes part)

Tried to setup an icloud account but cant figure that POS out. Hell, I cant even figure out how to login to see if they saved.



My question is, how do I correct the problem without losing all songs already on it and also how do I get it to allow me to download/sync more songs onto my touch?

Why does my IPOD completely wipe out when I turn computer off?

Can someone tell me why my IPOD erases everytime I turn the computer off? Sat I had to sync my IPOD. Sunday morning the IPOD was completely gone and I had to restore the IPOD again. Re-synced again Sunday and this morning my IPOD completely wiped out again and I have to restore. I'm tired of restoring It's beginning to be a lot of work. trouble synching music vides to IPOD

Took computer and Ipod to the Apple store now my IPOD needs to be restored. Everything is easily fixed except the music videos. How do I put my music videos on my IPOD into movies? Everytime I try to sync my music videos they go into music. Can't watch videos as I am walking. How do I sync into movies or how do i make a new IPOD playlist called videos. New computer. Can't sync

Transferred iTunes to new computer using home sharing.



When I plug iPad in, it says it is syncing for about 10 seconds, but doesn't actually sync new podcasts.



When I try to sync manually, the button is grayed out.



The original computer is turned off but I have not erased iTunes from it.



What am I doing wrong?

Best current way to restore iTunes library from iPod Touch?

I've read through all of the info about restoring your iTunes Library from your iPod. There are apparently more ways to do this then songs that I had in my 40gb library.



I read through the tutorial on this site, but it seems like it might be outdated. Also, many of the third party suggestions are either old or are called something else.



I don't mind paying for a good third party solution as long as it works. I did use one in the distant past which worked, but duplicated and triplicated many of the tracks along with occasionally losing a few off of each album.



Can anyone make recommendations on the latest one that works very well (and has decent customer support)?

i recently bought 4 speakers and a receiver i i have my ipod touch hooked up to it. i will be having the ipod on shuffle but i was wondering if there was a way i can use my android phone to control the ipod. mainly i would need to control the volume and skip tracks. both devices will be on the same wifi network.

Re-organising iTunes Music folder

Hello

I re-organised my iTunes music folder yesterday (Preferences > Advanced tab) and in result my old iTunes Music folder exists with all the old folders.

The only difference is that the files have been transferred to a new Music folder, and the old iTunes Music folder now contains the folders like Audiobooks, Podcasts, etc.

Not much logic in all that, I must say.

Is there any way to convert the folder structure to iTunes > iTunes Media where iTunes Media contains Audiobooks, Podcasts, etc.?

iTunes is not organising my files by track

Itunes is not organising my files properly.



I go into to the relevant album file, but only a handful of songs are organised by track number.



I can't even post a picture for some reason, but it's something like this...



1-01 - Song 1

1-02 - Song 2

1-05 - Song 5

1-09 - Song 9

Song 3

Song 4

Song 6

Song 7

Song 10



On itunes all songs are given the relevant track number. I've selected the boxes to copy/orgnaize files, but as above, only a handful of songs on each album are being organized properly



This is one a large number of albums I have. What's happening?

Please help with Itunes and new computer!

I'm getting a new computer. It will have a 256GB SSD and a 2TB HDD. I'd like to keep my Itunes program on the SSD, but the music files on the HDD. Right now, all my music files are on a detachable HDD with a USB connection, and Itunes is running on the PC's HDD. I set that up with the help of Apple support -- at the time, they helped me because my IPOD was defective (many kudos to the fast replacement on that one). I had just bulged a disc in my neck and was on painkillers, so all I remember was clicking a lot and feeling very happy. In anticipation of the new computer, though, I thought I'd post here for advice or links to resources on how to migrate the files and setup the new computer.



When the new machine arrives, how can I set it up so that my music files get moved from the detachable HDD to the new HDD, while the Itunes program runs on the SSD? Thanks for any replies!

Question about iTunes Collection

I have a large music collection that includes albums, singles, demo’s, bootlegs… but I am having a hard time categorizing some of the music.



For example:



Bob Seger - Against the Wind



I have 11 copies of this song

• Top 40 Driving Songs


• 100 Love songs


• Love songs from the 80’s


• Southern Rock Collection


• Slow Rock of the 80’s


• Billboard top 100 - 1980’s


• Easy 80s


• Forest Gump Soundtrack


• Bob Seger Greatest Hits


• Lost Love songs


• Ultimate Hits: Rock And Roll Never Forgets

I want to keep the song associated with these albums but I don’t need so many copies. I thought of making playlists for each album but that is 11 playlists for this one song. I have 10’s of thousands of songs and most of them are duplicates like this.

Any thoughts on how to catalog/group these duplicates.

iTunes is not playing the song I want!

Good afternoon, I'm new to the forums here, and I have an issue with my iTunes I was hoping someone could shed some light on. This has only been happening for a day or so:-



I'm on iTunes (the most up-to-date I believe - 11?) - on the song list page. When I double click on a song to play, it plays another one further down the list, and rarely the one I actually want.



I've noticed that about 90% of the time it starts playing the next purchased song in the list (i.e. one I have bought from the iTunes store or I've uploaded from a CD). The majority of my library are songs I've downloaded from somewhere on the internet.



I've been downloading songs (over 20,000), for years and never had this problem. It started the other day.



Anyone experienced similar? Know of a reason and/or solution?

can i run iFile on iPod Touch 2nd generation 4.2.1?

Please, i need URGENT help..My nephew has just received an iPod touch gen 2 as a gift. I know, it is an oldie but it is free and he want's to be able to use it to get access to the internet.



The iPod touch 4.2.1 is empty, no apps and there is no way to browse around. I've been told that in order to get iFile on an iPod touch i'll need to install Cydia first. I can do that, the problem and question i have is if once cydia is there. WILL THE IPOD ITHOUCH 2ND GENERATION 4.2.1 WILL BE capable TO INSTALL AND RUN iFILE?.

Tracks disappearing in other libraries

Hello,

Tracks re-added in one library disappear in other back-up libraries although they still exist in their respective directories.

I recently re-added one of my tracks in my "main library", so it changed its "date added" information.

But when I tried to find the same track in a different back-up library (created two months ago, on a different external drive), it wasn't there.

I can't figure out how changes in one library can affect contents in a different one. Could someone give me a clue, please?

Getting iPod to new PC

So my iPod is on my old computer, which has since crapped out (keeps re-starting itself for some reason.) Is there any way to get it to a new PC without wiping it clean?



My new PC iTunes only has some fifty songs on it from CDs I got after my old PC crashed.



Is there any way to salvage this? Do I have to somehow remove iTunes before I connect my iPod to the new PC so it doesn't wipe it out? I don't know how that would all work.

Does Anyone know how to disable Ipod Classic lock screen?

I recently got an Isimple put into my car, the thing works good but it doesnt let me control my music from my ipod, it makes me control it from the dash which is a major pain in the ###. When i plug the ipod in it will start playing but automatically locks the screen and just shows the artist name and song playing and that its connected to Isimple.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of this, All i want to do is be able to control my ipod while it is hooked up

Traveling from Canada to Hawaii

We are on Telus I am looking for anyone with experience swapping out their sim cards for use in Hawaii (couple of iPhone 5's). The Telus travel packs I don't think are the answer for us but am trying to look at all options and go from there. Teaching Teens Good Password Habits? Need Some Input

I have two teenage daughters who have grown up in the electronics age and now have FB, Twitter, Vimo, and many other accounts and services. When I was their age I had a locker combination to remember and that's all :) Over the last few weeks I have been thinking that I need to do a better job of teaching them good password habits and good backup habits but I am not sure what the best method of doing this is. I use RoboForm and really like it but it's probably a bit much for them and therefore I don't know that would work for them.



Right now they use the same username and password for every site and while that password is a strong password in my opinion it's still the same for every account. At the very least I think they need to use better passwords for their bank accounts, FB, Twitter....things people like to hack. Any thoughts? Is iOS Keychain good enough? Does that backup to the cloud and does it store passwords for apps or just Safari? Would something as simple as a password protected document be best? Any input would be appreciated.

One playlist won't copy

I have recently upgraded to a 5c from an old 3GS phone, and am now on iOs 7.1 and iTunes 11.1.5.5



I have always copied new songs onto my iPhone using a smart Playlist ("Not yet rated") that notices songs that have not yet been rated. This copies the songs to the phone, where I listen to them, rate them, and then they automatically disappear from that playlist and go into the usual rating system.

The same songs also appear in other playlists (e.g. "Recently added").

Both playlists work fine on iTunes, i.e. the smart playlist logic is working ok



So, the problem:

The new songs are being copied into the iPhone ok, (so I can find them on the phone when I search under the artist name).

And the "not yet rated" playlist title is being copied into the phone. But when I tap on the list title, it says that the playlist is blank "No content". When I view the same playlist on iTunes, it confirms that it is not blank.



So my question is, why is iTunes copying the songs over, but somehow refusing to acknowledge that the unrated songs are to be included in the "not yet rated" list?

Router Question iPad

I just got an iPad2 and have a Linksys WRT54GS When I set up my Touch and Samsung phone, I entered the Web Key (26 characters) and it worked fine when the device asked for the pw for the wi fi router. The iPad does not allow 26 characters and if there is a different PW, I have no idea what it is. My friend set it up 5 years ago. How do I merge TWO iTunes folders on 2 HDD to 1 HDD

My original iTunes folder is on an external HDD. Somehow, that external HDD was disconnected from the iMac, and iTunes automatically created a 2nd iTunes folder on the iMac INTERNAL HD.

Nano 7th Gen. and Car Cigarette Charging

Can you use a car's cigarette lighter connection to recharge the Nano? The newer cars have USB connections that work fine, but my car has no USB. Was hoping to purchase a cigarette lighter plug with a USB access, then connect the Nano 7th Generation Ipod to the car that way to keep the Nano charged.

Pairing Nano to OontZ speaker

When my Nano 7th Generation is on, I can enter my car and the car's bluetooth software immediately picks up the Nano and can play music. However, when I attempt to use the Nano with an OontZ Speaker (Bluetooth) I have to "connect" the Nano to it. In short, I have to jump through hoops with the Oontz, but not the care system.



I've tried deleting all bluetooh devices and load only the Oontz, but that hasn't helped. Any suggestions?

windows 7 format error ipod corrupted??

Hi hope someone can help here.



5 yr old 120 gb ipod classic regular use and software up to date.



about 6 weeks ago after iTunes 14 update first time plug in windows dialogue and iTunes error message.



Windows says format error



iTunes says ipod detected may be corrupted, ipod shows in iTunes with zero capacity.



I have been on with apple support several times and we still cannot get anywhere near a solution.



Have done factory reset/restore. Have uninstalled and re-installed iTunes. Have created a new user on PC. have disabled firewall, have unistalled antivirus and reinstalled antivirus (AVG Licence paid).



Have tried different USB ports both front and back



iphone 5s and ipad mini all work/sync fine.



When old ipod disconnected from PC appears as if brand new out of box can navigate menus, shows full available capacity.



Have connected to an old netbook with iTunes 10 on and running windows xp and both look to work fine (continually using the netbook is not an ongoing option).



Anoyone had any similar issues ?



I had been thinking about buying a new 160 gb classic so I did, and when connected to PC get same error messages. When connected to old netbook looks to work fine. Have put it back in the box.



Not saying apple aren't helping they appear to be doing their best but concerned it might be a windows drive format issue anyone got any ideas ?

Battery saving wallpapers

iphone battery

I made some changes to my iphone 5 to save battery life. I actually made it worse. I charged it last night, it was 100%, now this morning it is at 72% without any use. My battery life was pretty decent before I made those changes. I should not have messed with it especially since I am not tech person. Most of the changes I made were in the notification center and to email. Any advice for what I should check? Something is draining the battery, I just don't know what to check. ¨linking" iTunes libraries and songs to iTunes

My iTunes libraries display in their seemingly correct positions in File Explorer -- Music>iTunes>iTunes Music -- but not in iTunes!



Any help on "linking" my iTunes libraries and songs to iTunes would be appreciated. I have already imported my playlists from an external hard drive, and they display with the correct names in iTunes. I'm familiar with File>Add Folder -- I just don't know whether to choose This PC>Music, This PC>Music>iTunes, or This PC>Music>iTunes>iTunes Music -- if this is what I should do to "link" my iTunes libraries and songs to iTunes.



Let me know, if possible, whether to check (1) Consolidate Files, (2) Reorganize Files, (2) Keep iTunes Media Folder organized, or (4) Copy Files to iTunes Media Folder when adding to library. Thanks!

Hi...iPhone 7.1, iTunes 11.1.5.5 (latest versions), Windows 7



When I plug in my phone, it syncs automatically but then attempts to start adding all my music in my library even though I have it set (and always have) to manually manage music. I think it's all my music, but could be the ones that were previously on there that are in grey? (see below)



I did however recently erase all my music from my phone, via my phone to make room for updates. The songs still show up in grey on my phone when I plug it in to iTunes, click on my phone and go into the menu "On This Phone"



Am I missing something?

My email Contacts list

I use Yahoo.com for email on an original iPad. Can I edit entries in my Contacts List from the iPad or must I connect the iPad to my pc and work from there, using iTunes?



I don't see a way to even view the contacts list while using iPad not connected to the pc. Am I missing something obvious? FWIW, when I send an email message my iPad DOES recognize and insert contact addresses as I insert names into the TO slot.

iPhone 5 camera fault / replacement

My iPhone 5 camera has stopped working and it is out of warranty.



The symptoms seem to be consistent with a well documented fault which is regarded (online and by Apple) as a hardware fault, but I've seen no suggestion whether this is with the camera module itself, the main board in the phone or something else.



Repair (not by Apple) seems quite cheap, but is there a easy way to tell whether its the camera itself or something else?

Am I using TuneUP wrongly or does it just not work?

I use mainly ripped mainly classical CDs on iTunes and was sick of it not knowing the difference between Mozart, someone it thought was someone different called Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, someone else called Mozart WA and WA Mozart. It also never seemed to find album artwork.



So I was told to buy TuneUP which I have been playing with for some time now.



Unfortunately, though it located 85% of my album artwork, TuneUP still cant distinguish composers, doesnt seem to know when iTunes has used a composer's name as the album name, cant identify every album in a collection, and sometimes even 'cleans' by putting the end of an opera before the beginning! It also only manages to recognise collections of 2-4 albums about 30% of the time and sometimes sprays collections such as operas all over my iTunes list, putting CD one of a choral work at the begnining under B for Bach, the second CD towards the end because it lists it under S (probably for the Sebastian part, but it might be that it has recognised the composer as St Matthew' Passion) and the last CD at the middle because it lists it under J for JSBach!



It also occasionally cant recognise album art (wont remember when I look for, assign and save pictures it has found) and puts the different album art with what it makes separate parts of the collection!



Does anyone recognise something I am doing wrong or does this software just not work particularly well please?I have tried submitting a ticket to the manufacturer, but they didnt bother to respond to any question I asked. Which indicates to me that their software doesn't work and they cant tell me what I am doing wrong?

iOS 7.1 Smart Playlist Play Order still broken?

I mostly use Smart Playlists, they have always transferred the play order to the iPod Classic fine. With the iPhone, I've had to add the rule "Playlist" is "Music" and for whatever reason that lets the Smart Playlists show up in the order I chose on iTunes, just to be safe I did the Copy to Play Order thing as well. That works fine for Smart Playlists with Match "All" of these rules, but I have a few playists that are made with Match "Any" of these rules, therefore if I add the "Playlist" is "Music" criteria, it will simply add all my songs to that playlist. So that work around is no good for me. I was really hoping the combination of new iOS and new iTunes would solve this issue, but it has not. Does anyone have any suggestions?



Environment: Windows 7 x64 with all latest updates, latest iTunes, latest iOS (as of today) on iPhone 5



Smart Playlists

--Limit is not selected

When iPhone is connected to iTunes, iTunes settings are:

On the bright side, the playlist folders and subfolders now have different artwork so yay to that.

Importing Vinyl

I have been importing my vinyl collection into iTunes for some time now with great success. I am using an Ion iPTUSB turntable with their EZ Vinyl Converter software. When I complete recording the album side or song I want, I continue and fill out a form asking for Artist, Album, and Track name. At that point it sends the information to iTunes.

Up until recently, iTunes converted the EZACTmpFile.wav to the track name I entered and converted it to an mp3 file. This no longer happens. It is saved as a wav file. I have to go in and manually rename the file and convert it then to an mp3 file, which is time consuming as all get out.



Has anyone else had this problem? And yes, my preference settings are to save/convert imports to mp3.



Any thoughts? Ideas? :confused:

Problems with handling different music libraries

Hello,



I was running iTunes 10 on Windows 7, have iPod touch 4Gs of each size along with two 16GB iPad minis. I used iTunes to rip all my CDs, about 100GB worth, in AIFF into a folder I created with Windows on my partitioned hard drive. I then went through and selected what I wanted on the 64GB Touch, copied it into its own windows folder and put it on the 64GB touch. I then selected everything from the master file and converted it to AAC and dumped it into a different windows folder. So I have 3 windows created folders, everything in AIFF, everything in AAC and a smaller folder of the songs I listen to in AIFF. I also had intended on making a 4th folder like the last one in AAC for the smaller devices until I ran into problems.



After I created both versions, I ended up with doubles in iTunes, one of each. I used the shift key when launching iTunes to select the AIFF library to get rid of the AAC versions and put a few songs in AIFF on my 16GB touch. Now, I cannot change the library back to the AAC versions. It will not let me choose the folder I want. I don't understand how iTunes works well enough to know how it recognizes "libraries" verses a windows folder with songs in it. It did let me choose the original folder once and I don't know if something is corrupted or I am doing something wrong. To complicate things I also updated to iTunes 11 somewhere along the line. I want to at least be able to get the AAC versions back into iTunes so I can put them on the smaller devices. I would also like to create an AAC version of the smaller AIFF folder so I can just load those songs onto them en masse.



I downloaded i-Funbox and tried using it but after installed a few songs it made my computer crash so bad I had to do a forced restart.



Also, in the beginning I put about 500 song in AIFF onto the 64GB Touch, listened to it a few times and now all but 88 of the songs have disappeared. I used i-Funbox to add a few songs back and listened to them. Now after unplugging the USB, plugging it back in I'm back to the same 88 songs. I also lose the artwork to about half of the albums in iTunes at seemingly random times.



I am extremely frustrated at this point and would really appreciate some help.

Iphone 5s issue. Not letting me quit out of games

Hi guys done a quick search but nothing matching my issue. Have the 5s on the latest update and every time I want to quit out of a game it won't let me get back to the home screen. The only way to quit is a hard reset. This is with any type of games and doesn't happen in other apps. Any ideas? Thanks

iTunes Library on new PC

I recently got a new PC which has a 120Gb SSD (the "C" drive) and a 2Tb HDD (the "E" drive). I copied my iTunes library from my iPod Classic but discovered it has been stored in the "C" drive which means that it is nearly full. I want to move the library content to the large and empty "E" drive and have followed the instructions on Jesse Hollington's excellent article (November 30 2011). I have changed the iTunes Media location to the "E" drive and checked the "keep iTunes Media Folder Organized" and the "Copy files to iTunes Media Folder", however when I went to perform the move the following two options appear in the dialog box, "Consolidate Files" and "organize files in the "E" drive folder". I'm not sure which option to select?



I don't want to move the Library Database, but just move the content to the larger "E" drive.



Finally, the PC has five users, three of which have separate iTunes libraries. Do I simply repeat the above steps on each user to ensure all three libraries are stored on the "E" drive?

Ipod Touch (1st Gen) and Apps synching issue

I have an Ipod Touch 1st gen and it is updated with Itunes 3.1.3 but I cannot seem to synch ANY apps to it from itunes. When I connect the ipod to itunes and click ipod and see the apps list, there are only 2 options for each app INSTALL or WILL INSTALL. I tried each and syncing and they do not sync at all. I can delete them, but cant sync them. Any help? Thank you.

PC guy could use some help please

Hello I could really do with some help I have no understanding of Apple products as my DNA is PC, I'm keen to learn the Apple system but am somewhat confused.

I have an itouch that when you charge it, it just spins, occasionally it shows the Apple Logo and then spins some more.

I have tried holding down the "Face Button" also the top button I've tried both buttons at the same time, nothing.

I've connected to iTunes but get a 68 error & nothing

The iPod touch says on the back 32gb, but i don't know which Gen it is.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Display song names with thai script

Hi all

I have some cd's I got from Thailand and have ripped them to my pc.

I'm using an English version of windows 7.

The Thai language is displayed correctly in windows but when I "add files to library" iTunes does not display the songs names in Thai script, the text is .... gibberish.



Can iTunes be made to recognize Thai script when necessary?

Gen5 16gig nano stuck only works indisk mode?

Hello first post. Bout a week ago iPod would only show apple logo and not any music. So I have to put it in disk mode in order to have it sync with iTunes. so I eject it via the eject button in iTunes than unplug it from usb cord. but when I reset it via pushing menu and select on click wheel, I keep getting the apple logo. so I try to see if putting it into disk mode before attaching it to the usb cord of my car's stereo will allow it to be recognized like it did with iTunes. but when I put it in disk mode it still is showing the screen that says OK to disconnect and won't output music or anything to the head unit.



So basically it's this: only shows apple logo, or disk mode only to sync with itune. won't show anything else. I have latest iTunes and tried restoring it twice to see if that would help, it didn't do squat.

Should I buy a Mac Book Pro (non-Retina) or 13 inch Mac Book Air?

I'm debating between a non-Retina 13 Mac Book Pro or a 13 Mac Book Air.



I want a full laptop/desktop *replacement.* A Mac Book Air is not a supplementary device to me, I would use it as my only device.



What I want:

- Battery life.

My current Vaio is pretty good, but battery life is 4 hours or less. I hate having to plug in.



- Light.

My Vaio is 6 pounds. That's heavy to me. I usually work at home, but it's still a bit annoying dragging 6 pounds (plus power cable) around the house. It's heavy to use for hours in a lap, and I hate desks. It runs a bit hot, and it's really just heavy to use as a portable device. I have no muscles.



- Reasonable speed.

I want to at least be able to do light graphic design, web editing, e-mail, YouTube, some Word editing, while streaming Spotify or Netflix, without lagging. (Or running so hot it burns my leg.)

And I want to be able to do this for an entire 8 hour work day if I so choose on battery power alone.



- Quiet.

My Vaio eventually gets hot and the fan is loud... and that really annoys me.



- Apple TV. Fun perk to use my TV as a secondary display.



My current system is a ~2.5 GHz Vaio, 15 inch screen, 600 GB hard drive (that'll be hard to give up for a 128 GB MB Air), Windows 7 (yuck, give me XP anyday in comparison). My Vaio is nice, but runs rather hot (and the fan gets a little loud). The big issue is just that it's heavy (6 pounds) and battery life is a few hours if I'm working (3-4 hours or less). I hate plugging in, and want to be able to work 8 hours on a park bench if I wanted to.



How do you deal with the puny 128 GB hard drive of the Air?

How much of that 128 GB does the OS take up?



Can the Mac Book Air run normal "light" web design and streaming (Spotify/Netflix) apps on battery *quietly* and with 8+ hours of real-world battery life? All the tests and reviews I've read suggest that people get at least 10 hours in real life. Will it really doing what I want?

Renaming iTunes library of ripped music

Like many others my family shares an iTunes account. My kids are getting older and want their own account and I want to pull my ripped music into an account that only I have access to. My music is strictly from burned CD's that I own- no downloads from iTunes. Current apple ID is for an inactive email account we no longer have access to. I have copied my library of just my ripped music to an external HD. So my questions are:



1. Can I create a new apple ID with the music I have on my external HD and if so how?



2. If I am able to do a new apple ID with music on external HD how do I set my external drive up to be the default location for iTunes? I would want to delete music off my laptop hard drive as it is nearly full



If it matters current library is on a HP laptop running windows 7.

Rebooted my PC and lost my VIDEOS on ITunes

I have rebboted my pc and have lost all the videos stored in ITUNES, I have a separate hard drive that I store ALL my music and video files on, However when I reinstalled Itunes all I did was drag the music files stored on this separate drive into ITUNEs and all was restored, BUT I CANT FIND where my VIDEO files were stored......It should be on this separate drive somewhere, but its got 100GB on it. What is the folder called wher ITUNES stores its video files :confused:

ipod playing up

I have restored from a freeze but for some reason I cannot access the several files I have created e.g. One for easy listening.I have been Ill recently and found that I had a problem accessing that file and others. The ipod classic just will not open the files, all I get , again for example Is right facing arrow that does not function .I have pressed every control but cannot get any joy. I do get some music links but they all stop short of opening what want.be patent with my meandering description.

inhetrited Samsung Galexy Tab 3

I was using the samsung just as an iBook but now i'm using for my Facebook, Email and Youtube. What i would like to do is transfer just 6 videos (2 of which are ful films0 on to it. How do i do that. i do have a small cord with a UB connection at one end and and earphone looking jack on the other end. and the Samsung does have an earphone hole. do you think that would work. will i be able to drag files into a folder manualy?
