I have been importing my vinyl collection into iTunes for some time now with great success. I am using an Ion iPTUSB turntable with their EZ Vinyl Converter software. When I complete recording the album side or song I want, I continue and fill out a form asking for Artist, Album, and Track name. At that point it sends the information to iTunes.
Up until recently, iTunes converted the EZACTmpFile.wav to the track name I entered and converted it to an mp3 file. This no longer happens. It is saved as a wav file. I have to go in and manually rename the file and convert it then to an mp3 file, which is time consuming as all get out.
Has anyone else had this problem? And yes, my preference settings are to save/convert imports to mp3.
Any thoughts? Ideas? :confused:
