Hi.
Not sure if this is the right subforum, but I've just returned from a 10-day holiday to find that iTunes on my PC desktop (Windows 8.1, iTunes 12.1.0.71) won't recognise my iPad or iPhone, but will recognise my iPod Classic for which everything is working normally.
On plugging the iDevices in I get a 'click to indicate what windows should do with this device' notification on the PC, and the iPhone buzzes, but nothing shows up in the iTunes device bar.
I'm using an Apple USB cable directly in to a USB3 port on the PC system unit..
I get a 'Trust this computer?'message on both devices, but this has no efefct.
The iPhone and the iPad currently have OS 8.1.2. Should I update both the devices OSs? Should I do this while plugged into the PC?
Any advice most welcome!
