This is my first post so please be patient. I have a 2009 ipod classic that is very sick. My son tried to sync it with a PC with out itunes. I know I know, youth? Since then the pod will not respond to any commands. We tried to sync it with its home computer. Itunes saw the pod for a brief shining moment but when we tried to restore it it lost communication and has not seen it since. I have reset the pod and got it into disk mode but the computer still does not see it. The pod now is locked up and displays only the apple symbol. It will not reset. We have updated itunes and rebooted the computer. Any suggestions?:questionmark:
