Can you connect your ipad mini to an LGTV?

hey, my computer is getting old and there seems to be some small various things wrong with it. right now its connected to my LGTV so its my only scource of Youtube and Netflix (other then the ipad) i was wondering if there is anyway i can connect my ipad to the LGTV. with a USB. I tried but the LG said "unable to connect devise" it is an older model i think from 2010 maybe.

Iphone 6 deletes and restores photos/touch messed up

So it started about a month ago, i think when my father bought me a bad charger and everything started getting messy. I have around 20,000 pictures,my phone basically deletes them then restores them and sometimes it shows the pictures as grey boxes too,also my touch is messed up it clicks on different stuff on its own, opens and closes applications on its own. Also, my iphone wouldnt update to iso 10 and when i try to back it up it says backup incompatible. I am on ios 9.3.4 and its an iphone 6 Did anyone ever face this problem or have an idea how to fix it?I am starting to think that my battery is messed up and this is all happening because of it but i don't really know,i have read about a couple of people saying that hard resetting the phone might work but i thought asking first would be better.

I have a iPhone 5 that has been sitting for a couple years. I have been charging it for 2 days straight now and it won't turn on. It is not jail broken. I have tried the wire on my iPhone 6 and it works so I know the iPhone 5 is getting power to it. Any idea on how I can turn it on or what I can do?

NOOK Simple Touch Having Trouble With Connecting To The Internet

I have a NOOK Simple Touch that is currently having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi right now. It started happening a few minutes ago and this did not happen earlier. I have tried everything that I can think of. Shutting it down, rebooting, and even turning the wi-fi on and off as well.

iPhone 7 uncomfortable to hold with buds in

The ear phone jack used to be to the far left. For me my pinky would rest comfortably in the center while looking at my phone and listening to the earbuds at the same time. Now that the jack is gone the earbuds plug into the center not leaving a comfortable space to hold the bottom of the phone. Not a big deal but still, I noticed when it didn't feel right.

Qi Wireless Charging with Lightning pass thru

Hi,
I see that you can add wireless charging with a Qi adapter that plugs into the lightning connector, and sits under the case for my iPhone SE. But that then doesn't allow me to charge with a wire. Is there a Qi adapter that has pass thru lightning connector? Or am I doing this wrong??

Artist name the same,,,, but differant?

sometimes when i tag or retag a song i get an artists name listed twice as though they are differant artists. this is almost impossable to explain buti download a song from an artists i already have on my ipod but the ipod would lidt the artist twice as though the song i downloaded is a differant srtist that i have on my ipod. you understand? i have to go and retag ALL the songs by the artist to make the ipod recgognize them as the same. why does that happen? cant itunes and the ipod recgognze its its spelled the exact same way it is the same? why not??

Getting past greyscale charge with firewire screen.

Okay so just recently I got myself an old iPod and replaced my hard drive with another toshiba 20gb. Now heres the thing, I don't have the money to afford a firewire cable so I can't get past the charging screen. I did find a small way through this using my old hard drive too boot past the screen then swapping my new hard drive in ( I used this in order to install rockbox by putting the iPod on disk mode once swapped back) but that doesn't remove the boot lock screen asking for me to charge with a firewire. Since I found the ability to access the hard drive is there a file I can delete or modify to remove to get me past this annoying screen? If its harder like taking apart a cable or something like that I'm willing to go full on mcguyver on this.

LED Blink Notification?

So I've just bought my first ever iPhone (7) and I'm really missing a feature that I noticed was so useful to me when on Android.

I mostly keep my phone on silent and check when there was a blink on my phone notifiying me of messages or missed calls. Now I been trying to find the feature on my phone but can only find the LED flash for alerts, but this is for those that are blind, and extremely bright.

Is there any missing feature that I can identify whereby the flash just blinks intermittiantly? Is there any App that would allow me to do this perhaps?

After importing home video it disappears

I have been having this trouble for a couple of weeks so did a complete uninstall and reinstall of iTunes to the latest version today. I have always been able to convert a DVD to MP4 format and then drag and drop into the Home Video playlist.
For some reason I now can't do that so had to use the import file or folder option which appeared to work. However the next time I open iTunes the movie has disappeared. It is still on the HD in the iTunes Media File so why isn't it in iTunes? It is still happening in the latest version of iTunes, so aggravating. I have tried everything I know so can someone help?:mad:

How to run original kodi addons on appleTV without JB

Hey guys,

I just wanted to share something I wrote which allows viewing kodi addons on appleTV.
For anyone unfamiliar with TVML, it's a new language apple invented fot the new appleTV which allows a kind of client-server application to run on the device.
What I've done is basically write a TVML server in python which can be installed on your computer at home running windows/mac/linux.
On the ATV, you install TVML Explorer from the app store and add the ip of your computer.
The server than runs the chosen addon and supplies the ATV with the content.
It's still a work in progress, but many addons are available including Exodus and others.

Corrupt iPod freezes everything I try to access it with. Solutions?

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this.

My iPod classic is Corrupt, and I'm trying to format it. I've had trouble accessing it with just about everything I've tried. All software I use, including iTunes, freezes while the iPod is connected, and will only continue working once I disconnect it. My Computer crashes similarly when I try to access it as a Removable Storage Device. I've tried connecting it in Disk Mode and the outcome is the same. Any ideas on what exactly may be causing this, and how I might be able to resolve it, if at all?

Refresh Podcast in iTunes 12.5.1.21

So I just updated to iTunes 12.5.1.21 and when looking at specific Podcast list, there were elipses (...) next to the title, you click it, a dropdown menu would appear and you could select to manually refresh. Well, this option is now gone and it would seem like I will only be able to refresh if I'm subscribed to that Podcast (as those I am subscribed to refresh fine when selecting the "Refresh" button at the bottom of the page).

iMessages not being received

I recently got my first iPhone (6s) after having Android phones for the last 8 years. My son also has an iPhone (5s). When I send him a text, he does not receive it. I have tried sending messages with imessaging turned on and also with it turned off and he still does not get my texts. This never was a problem when I had an Android and he had an iPhone. I suspect it has something to do with switching platforms.

Any suggestions how to remedy? He receives my phone calls OK, so, I suspect I have not been blocked.

bad charging port or charging cables?

I'm wondering if my charging port is going bad, or if it's the charging cables. It's most likely the cables, as none I use are official apple cables, and are pretty old. I always have to hold the charger forward, almost like it isn't making a solid connection with the back of the port.

Import a TXT or CSV playlist to ITUNES - fail

Have some external files with PLAYLISTS of songs that I want to import into ITUNES. These playlists do not have associated music, but do have the artist name and song name only.

Of course know that ITUNES needs to have the songs exist, and my library has a pretty good diversity. So have a good chance that at least 50% of the songs will match.

Its just that ITUNES does not seem to recognize a TXT or a CSV file that I try to import. Have looked at exported ITUNES playlists, to see about the format, but have not really made any progress with that.

Does anyone know of a tool, or have you had success with import of a CSV file list of songs into ITUNES? Where ITUNES matches the song and creates a playlist?

Will comment back with what did not work for me as reference later.

smartplaylists not on phone ios 10 and other troubles

The icons are there but there are NO songs in the actual playlist. :thumbsdown:

The same happened briefly when I turned on icloud library a month or two ago before I reverted. I also seem to be missing the "optimise space" option in music which I understand is a new feature.

I also don't like that you can't clear the "up next" queue nor can I seem to get rid of the "now playing" bar (when the app is onscreen) one I stop playing.

Otherwise I generally like the music app for ios 10 except for the big issue with smartplaylists and minor nag with "now playing" "up next".

Restore WhatsApp Messages from iPhone Backup

Are you suffering the annoyance of data loss? Or when you're unlucky to encounter above situations, you may ask, what should I do to recover deleted messages on my iPhone?

If you have back up the data with iCloud or iTunes, you can restore from iCloud or iTunes.
1. Using iTunes Backup
- Disable automatic syncing in iTunes
- Connect your iPhone to your computer
- Restore the iPhone from a backup.

2. Restore from iCloud
- Erase your iPhone.
- Select the "Restore from iCloud Backup" option.
- Allow the content to download onto your iPhone.


If you don't like above methods, you can use FoneLab iPhone data recovery to help you.

Step 1. Open program > Connect your iPhone to computer.

Step 2. There are 3 modes for options.
a. Choose mode 1 and scan directly.
b. Choose mode 2 and select suitable iTunes files.

WMA to MP3 Converter for mac

I have a huge amount of music on an external hard drive, quite a bit of the music is in WMA format. I would like to find an app that will search the hard drive, list the WMA files, allow me to select the files I want to convert or select all. Convert them and save them back onto the hard drive. It would be nice if I can save the original WMA files and the new MP3 conversion into the same folder. Can anyone tell me if there is such program out there. The converters I have seen are drag and drop and I have to much music on my hard drive to mess with that I need something that will search the drive, automatically find the files, list them and allow me to convert them.

Contract required for iPhone 7 purchase in US?

Pre-orders start friday.

Do I have to have a contract with a carrier? I have a business phone issued by my company and they won't issue the 7 for at least another year. So, I want to buy it on my own and put my At&T sim in it (done this several times in the past).

problem is, I used to have a personal line as well that I could enter the info on in order for apple to verify my AT&T account. I do not have and cannot get my company's enterprise account.

Is this going to be an issue when I go to order the phone later this week?

All the phones are unlocked now so that part of it isnt an issue anymore.

Sound Check mystery problem solved i think

i cant remember where i was talking about my problem with sound check, but im understanding the problem more. Sound check doesnt seem to work on music i downloaded from Amazon. i read somewhere you can right click the song file and "on tje Get Info. On the left side there should be something with dB, either - or +. This will show the volume increase or decrease."
but i found nothing like that on my "Get Info" menu.

Can't leave an app? Phone won't unlock after it is locked.

SO this has happened to me several times and I can usually fix it by restoring my phone but I really hate doing that so i'm wondering if there's another way.
I have an iPhone 5s and sometimes it'll stay in an app and I can't click away from it or use my home button it'll just remain in the app however I am able to use that app perfectly fine. If i lock my phone during this then it will stay locked and there's no way for the screen come back on but i know the device is still on because siri will speak every now and then. I've tried resetting it by holding the lock and home button but it never works. my phone is also on 100% right now so i can't wait for it to die.

Any Issues Upgrading from 10.7 to 12.3?

I am still using iTunes v10.7 because I hated v11 and how they changed the viewing of albums. I am considering buying a new iTouch 128kb and it requires v12 - are there any potential issues I need to look out for when making the jump from v10.7 to v12.3.4? Will my iTunes library still be in the same place (C:\Users\MyMusic\iTunes on Windows PC)?

I know to backup up my entire library before upgrading - I do this regularly, but have been using v10.7 for years now. Thanks
