Your Apple ID Has Been Disabled

I am trying to update an app on the iPad but it is saying that the Apple ID has been disabled. I purchased it under my Apple ID by mistake instead of the Apple ID that my family uses. I have tried everything including rebooting the device and trying again. But nothing will work.
