I have been having this trouble for a couple of weeks so did a complete uninstall and reinstall of iTunes to the latest version today. I have always been able to convert a DVD to MP4 format and then drag and drop into the Home Video playlist.
For some reason I now can't do that so had to use the import file or folder option which appeared to work. However the next time I open iTunes the movie has disappeared. It is still on the HD in the iTunes Media File so why isn't it in iTunes? It is still happening in the latest version of iTunes, so aggravating. I have tried everything I know so can someone help?:mad:
Forgot to say I am on Win 7 64bit
