I have been ignoring the "can't save library file" messages for the past few months. Of course, I have run into an issue in that iTunes is empty ie: it looks like a fresh install, no music, no podcasts. I have no recent or decent library file.
All my music and podcasts are still sitting there on the hard drive.
My iPod still has everything on it. Can I "refresh" iTunes from the iPod and hence restore all my ratings and playlists to iTunes?
I have looked at a couple of programs out there but they seem to copy the songs / podcasts off the iPod. As mentioned, I haven't lost the songs, just their "representation" in iTunes.
