So after working with ITunes to fix a lot of my music, am finding that a few tools are very useful. Figure I will create a list for others.
1) ITUNES LIBRARY TOOLKIT - fixes and removes any dead links to songs. very useful when you change song locations.
2) ICOVERART - a little buggy with the interface, but it will take your DOWNLOADED art in ITUNES and write it back into the original MP3 as EMBEDDED art. Good thing to have if you are working with an ANDROID phone, as android only works with the original MP3.
3) ISYNCR - allows you to synchronize your ITUNES with a ANDROID phone. Seems to work the best at getting and updating any music changes.
4) MEDIA LYRICS FINDER - again a little buggy with the interface but it will find LYRICS if they exist for any long and embed them in the original MP3.
5) COPYTRANS TUNESWIFT - to actually do a full back of your ITUNES library and will work to restore it. You can test it out top make sure.
6) MUSICBRAINZ PICARD - a little hard to understand, but it will allow you to make embedded ID3 meta data corrections to the original MP3, and then ITUNES will import those corrections when you do a GET INFO command. Has worked to correct CDs that had incorrectly split up albums.
any other suggestions?
