I have an issue with my iPhone 4S. It started happening after IOS7 was installed. I have all updates. I sync via USB and have shut off iTunes Match.
My smart playlists are relatively simple. New 1 Yr, New 90 Days, Not Heard in 6 months. I have seen several posts that this might be an IOS7 bug.
It is very strange. The music is all on the iPhone - it all transferred. But the smart playlists only show a portion of the songs. The Not Heard in 6 months should have 4000 songs and it has 988. This behavior does not exist on my iPod Classic or Nano - they work fine. iTunes is also updating properly. I am aware that you must sync before new music shows up since live updating won't occur on the iPhone itself. If I search through the library the music is on the iPhone. I also clicked on the device and looked at playlists listed under the device and they are correct. Some of the suggestions I have seen which I tried were -none worked.
1. Restore Iphone
2. Remove all music and retransfer
2. Recreate playlists
2. Go in and out of the playlist once on the phone.
3. Sync all music to phone then then sync playlists
4. Set Playlist to Music
I just want to know if I should stop trying to fix - is it a bug?
Thanks
