I just purchased a iHome iH46B Under Cabinet Player.
It states that it should charge iPods.
My Daughter has a iPod Touch 2nd Gen. and it charges fine.
I have a iPod Touch 3rd Gen. and the manual state it should charge it too but I get the message 'Charging is not supported with this Accessory'.
My iPod charges fine on the PC and wall.
It plays the music just fine in the iHome player but just won't charge.
I called iHome and verified that it should charge and they said 'Yes'.
My iPod's software is up to date and I cleaned the connection with a pin just to get the lent out but still getting the error message.
I'm wondering if cleaning the pin will make it work.
What would be the correct way to do that?
I don't want to mess anything up.
Or can anyone think of something else to try?
Thanks,
Debbie
