Lightning Cable Not Recognized After iOS 7.1.2 Update

I bought a 10' lightning cable from iLounge to connect my iPhone to my car's stereo. It was working just fine until 7.1.2 update yesterday. Now it won't charge because it's not recognized... what gives? :mad:
