I really hope somebody can help me with this. I have a 80gb 5th gen ipod classic, Version 1.3 Model MA448FB. It has 50GB of music on it from various sources, itunes, cds, downloaded from various sites etc. The computer it was originally synced with has long gone and now itunes wants to wipe everything off it and replace it with my current itunes library when i try to sync.
This means i would lose alot of the tunage on the ipod, which I don't have anywhere else. The ipod is still going but is getting gradually more damaged and I'm scared its going to give up the ghost one day!
I have tried a programme called "Sharepod" to somehow copy the music on the ipod to my laptop (samsung 7, windows 8) but it just crashed all the time.
If anybody could let me know how I can copy all of this music to somewhere and have access to it, I would be very grateful indeed! THANKS!
