Problem with iPod classic 5g

I have an iPod classic 5g and I have the following problem. The iPod boots to a sad face and when I enter HD INFO in the diagnostics mode I get completely insane info. The First field is unreadable lines, the HDD capacity is 96GB and the temps are 717897C with maximum 2189790C and also I can't leave that info, I have to reset the iPod. I removed the HDD to see if something has changed, but it gives me the same info only way faster and still freezes. Every other test passes (except the Headphone jack one because is totaly bust and I have ordered a new one). Also the HDD is completely dead, it doesn't even spins it's motor. So is it only an HDD problem or is it a board related problem ?:confused:
