Itunes total reinstall HELP

Fingers crossed you experts can help me with this, My PC had to be totally rebooted this weekend to my suprise as the C drive developed a problem and needed replacing ASAP, Im hoping ALL is not lost as I have a separate HARD DRIVE that I store my library on, that is all intact,



I also Install the ITUNES program on the D drive, the D drive is also intact but ITUNES will not start at all the program files seem all there, but it just wont OPEN.....Its not a problem reinstalling ITUNES but I REALLY DONT WANT to have to import all the library back into the new Itunes install, all 120GB of it!!! :o , so heres the big question.



I once read on here there is a small FILE in the Itunes program that lists the library contents and its location etc etc. and copying that file into the NEW INSTALL will do the business tell the new install where all my music is stored etc etc, WILL THIS MAGIC file still be in the non working Itunes install, and if so whats its filename.......



My problem may be that there was a small Itunes file stored in the MY MUSIC folder in my C drive, the one thats had to be changed, and I have a gut feeling that was probably the one I need.
