Notes moved out of folders that I set up iOS 9.0.2, anyone else?

Have an iPhone 5, after iOS9 upgraded my notes I created folders to sort my notes into. They looked and worked fine until this morning (phone was at iOS 9.0.1 then). BTW I do not use iCloud, notes are only on my iPhone, backed up on my PC via iTunes. After an Outlook sync fiasco, I have only used notes created on the iPhone. I was excited about the new folder option, lamenting only that they let me drag the sort order of individual notes within a folder.

So I was having an issue with the App Store asking for password each time on an update maybe since iOS 9.0.1, there is a thread at the Apple forums about that, a "reset all settings" was recommended to solve the issue. So, I backed up the phone and I made screenshots of all my settings before I did the reset. At that time iOS 9.0.2 was not something that showed up under software update, I did not know it was being released today. As I was changing all the settings back after the reset, I noticed the update so I clicked on it. Now several hours later I went to check on a note, at first it said there are no notes - freaked me out, then the iCloud popup I believe was to turn on Notes for iCloud but I said no, then my notes started to fill in along with folders. It was basically acting like it was when I installed iOS9 - the converting the notes process.

I'm wondering if anyone knows what the deal is with notes? If I restored back to the backup I made just prior to iOS 9.0.1 would that fix the issue? I believe all the notes are present, it's just that some folders are empty, some have a few in them...they just seem to be disorganized.... It could be a coincidence, but am I right in assuming that "reset all settings" should not have affected the notes?

Sync not working at all - updated to most recent version

I really hope someone can help me. I loved my 160gb but it started to die. I was told so many ways to replace a battery and none really worked so I found a brand new 160gb (huge fan).

I updated Itunes and plugged the 160 in and the screen indicates connected but no songs sync over. I read where you need to update Quicktime also which I also did so I'm stuck.

I searched the forum but nothing really addressed this.

Why does iTunes insist on adding cloud music to my genius playlists?

I'm getting really annoyed about this. I don't use iCloud, I turned it off on both the iPhone (6+) and in iTunes (12.3).

Since the new music app in iOS SUCKS BIG TIME, and keeps losing my Genius playlists and also deleting them from iTunes, I create genius playlists in iTunes, then turn them into static play lists to sync with my iPhone.

Since I like to make my genius playlists 100 songs, instead of the default 25, iTunes keeps pulling music from the cloud to fill up the playlists. I DON'T want this! I delete the cloud items, but they keep coming back. iTunes is telling me it will need to download the cloud music if I want to create a regular playlist from the genius playlist.

I do not want cloud music on my PC. I don't listen to it, I don't need it. How do I stop iTunes (and iPhone) from pulling music out of the cloud?

I turned off Apple music on both, I set the phone to only show items on the phone, but this sucks SO MUCH!

iTunes from PC to Mac -- different case than tutorials I've read.

I've been using itunes on a PC for a LONG time. I am VERY particular about my music tags, my filing system, etc.

On my PC, I house both my iTunes folder and all of my music within D:\Josh\My Music. My music is within this folder by artist and album. This D drive is an external drive. I do not use my internal C drive for any of this.

On my PC, within iTunes Preferences Advanced:
itunes Media folder location: D:\Josh\Music
I DO NOT CHECK Keep iTunes Media folder organized
I DO NOT CHECK Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library.

I like to do everything manually and do not want my system messed with.

So, again, all music files, and all itunes "info" is already on this external drive. And I do not have enough space on my internal drive to copy this over.

I want to continue to use this external drive in a new set up on a Macbook. So I don't want to move my actual music to my Macbook's internal drives, I want iTunes to work with my external drive on the Mac the same way it does on my PC. Is this possible? How? I can't seem to find any tutorial that covers this.

Two libraries on one computer

My wife's computer died and we decided we would use my computer to keep both my and my wife's iTunes libraries. I have a iPod, iPhone, and iPad, and my wife has the same. Is there a way to keep my iTunes from my wife's if we use the same computer.

As an additional question, how do I move my wife library that is on her devices to my computer and restore her library from her devices to my computer. I am not sure if I phrased it right. Basically. How to move my wife iTunes library from her devices to my computer

iCloud and Photo management question

This is probably a stupid question, but everything related to photos on iCloud is confusing me. How can I tell for sure whether the thing I'm using is iCloud Photo Library or My Photo Stream? I know I have the photo library turned on, but I think the only photos showing up on my PC through iCloud are from the photo stream rather than everything that's theoretically in iCloud. I'm running out of storage and having a hard time figuring out how to manage iCloud storage from my PC (ideally, moving photos to local storage on my PC and removing them from iCloud in one action, which...is exactly what I can do with every other cloud-storage service I've used, so I don't know why I'm having so much trouble with this one).

Any way to make iTunes edit the actual meta data?

Hi,

I've recently installed a new OS on a separate hard disk and am putting my iTunes library back together using the files on the other hard disk. (Not copying them over to the new hard disk, just importing them from.)

I've noticed that all the data I had added through "get info" for song names, artist, album, genre, etcetera, has all disappeared. The only rationale for this is that the "get info" function doesn't actually change the raw meta data, but simply adds a veneer to the file for iTunes to read. This is terribly frustrating as I have hundreds of GB of music which now has to be sieved through and the information added again. Most irritating is having to go through songs and remove the track number from the name.

For future reference, is there a way I can set iTunes so that the song names and other information I add is added to the actual file itself? Or failing that, do you know of an alternative software that can do this and sync to my 5g Nano?

(While I'm here, I'll also ask if there exists a high capacity music player without a screen navigated by buttons, similar to the Shuffle. I'm a very heavy user and I find the screens last a pathetically small amount of time, but the 2G Shuffle barely stores a couple of discographies.)

Moving apps from a 6 to a 6s

Friday, I tried to transfer the iPhone 6 apps from the backup on my iMac to my 6s. Most have moved over, but several say "waiting." How to I get these apps out of the "waiting" mode and into the installed and working mode?

There is plenty of room on my 6s for the apps and the apps worked on my 6 fine. Both 6 and 6s were running 9.0.1.

Old old classic not charging

My very old 20g classic has suddenly stopped charging. It has the original battery. I bought a spare battery many years ago but never used it!
Today I had the battery charging symbol which was static ie not scrolling so not charging. I also get a battery logo with an ! over it which is new. I can also get the apple logo but nothing else. Any ideas please? Has the battery finally given up? Or is it just stuck. I can here the Hard Drive clicking then stopping as it tries to fire up.

iPod mini Compact Flash

Looking for some help....bought a 32gb Compact Flash....thought it was new, damaged packaging....but found out there were a few pictures on it....now, I can't seem to "format" the compact flash to be used in the iPod....I've used this model (Transcend) before without issue....I'm guessing its because it had been obviously used in a camera....I do have a generic card reader which recognized the CF....but I don't know "how" to format it.....any help appreciated....thanks

Simply make a playlist of individual episodes!!?

hey folks. I've finally thrown the head up with Apple as have many others this week. The new Podcast app is completely unusable. I'm not going to get into a slanging match with anyone but here is the gripe.

ALL I WANT.... Very simply. Is to be able to make a list of individual, manually chosen episodes from my podcasts that have already downloaded.

I don't want the machine to think for me. I don't want it to automatically populate anything. I WANT TO DO IT MYSELF. AND HAVE THE EPISODES SIT THERE IN THAT LIST, FOREVER, UNTIL I DELETE THEM.

This is what On-the-Go was for me until now. Utter bliss. Now I'm at a loss.

Any Podcast apps out there that can manage this oh-so simple step? Overcast can't.

Is there a PIM (Personal Information Manager) app that would allow me to ...

Hi everyone -

I am pretty sure the answer to my question is "no" because I have already spent quite a while searching, but is there a PIM app that would allow me to:

(1) View and edit my Microsoft Exchange calendar;
(2) View and edit my Google calendar;
(3) View my Toodledo to do list; and
(4) Print (create a PDF) of that information combined?

I own Pocket Informant Pro, and that app USED to be able to do all those things. It still does 1-3, but a couple updates ago the print (PDF) function became all wonky and is now nearly unusable.

I have tried looking for an alternative, to no avail.

Anybody know of an app that I may be missing?

iPod Touch 3rd Gen Dock 'Spring' Anyone know this part?

Howdy,

New to the forum, so apologies if I come across as a n00b. I'm repairing my gf's iPod Touch 3rd Gen. The power button has all but failed and I've been fitting a new one. To do so, I had to remove a screw that sat just below a 'brass' spring to the left of the dock port. Unfortunately, the screw was very soft and rounded off quickly. No extraction techniques worked, which means I subsequently had to pull out the drill and give it a good going over. I got through the screw (yay) but just as I did, the little brass spring thing just shredded and flew off. Now, luckily, it's a replaceable part (i was convinced it was part of the dock port).

However, what is it? What does it do? And where can I find one to replace it with? What does even connect to?

I've tried to attach an image but I can't because I'm new, so I guess you'll have to help me out with that part.

An iTunes Back-up?

My Mac Mini has a split file system with the media kept on an external HD. I just recently successfully transferred those media files over to a new HD as the original one was about to fail. I got very lucky there and do now wish to count on luck a second time.

I do have automatic back-up online using Backblaze, but I would also like to run a second HD as an in house back-up. I know that I cannot simply copy files over from one place to the next and expect iTunes to recognize them aferwards. So, what is the best approach to maintaining an iTunes back-up where it can be switched over to in the event of another HD failure, or one of my main computer and library files? And what is the process for doing that? Should my library files also be on the external HD?

I want to avoid going through the entire move library from here to there process I have just gone through. It would be nice to have an incremental type back-up that will be recognized by iTunes. I just don't know enough about this to make it happen on my own.

iphone 6 Case that can handle the LifeProof case?

I have this iPhone6 in a Lifeproof Fre case.

I'd like to know if there's a windshield mount or perhaps other mounting fixture which can hold the iphone WHILE it's in the case, BUT WITHOUT using any adhesive pieces like Lifeproof's Quickmount fixture uses.

I think using an adhesive is a poor, and CHEAP design.

They make a great belt clip, it would be nice to have a mounting fixture that CLIPS in w/the phone while it's in the case.

If such a thing exists, I'd love to see it.

iPod photo issues w/ sync and detection

Alright everyone,

First post here; I'll try and make this as comprehensive as possible.

I recently purchased an old iPod photo 20GB off none other than eBay; part of it was simply nostalgia whereas the other part was wanting to finally replace the many iPods that I've had that by various causes went to the digital grave.

The listing denoted that the device was working, and even included photos of the thing on the home screen so I understood that the device was indeed in functioning order.

On delivery, it is clear that this is the iPod from hell; it's formatted Windows, but neither my Windows nor Mac machines will recognize it. I've tried rebooting the thing while attached; no go. Disk Utility doesn't detect a mount. Booting into disk mode gives the check (as in "OK to disconnect") automatically without ever having acknowledged a sync. I have yet to run through the diag menu but at least my first thought was that it happens to be a HDD issue.

That being said, I've had 5 iPods before at various points in my life (not including this one), so I'm understanding of the fact that iPods are sometimes gremlins to mount and connect. They get moody, and I get that.

There is one other problem - the battery. Now, obviously an iPod photo that has no verifiable signs of opening is likely to have a questionable battery in 2015, but this is something else entirely. The device will not even recognize power (device/wall; at least it's an equal opportunity PITA) without being rebooted, so death is an obvious outcome. When plugged in, it will charge up to about 10% (ca. the second-to-smallest red sliver the iPod can produce while having visible indication) and then stop charging without any notice.

At first I thought this was an HDD issue, but because the charging system usually isn't implemented in storage software, I'm thinking it might be a motherboard problem.

I've read on the subject that there are issues with Yosemite and iPods; other places I read that only pertains to the Yosemite Beta. I may have a Core 2 Duo unibody that doesn't have Yosemite I can attempt, but I'd like to rule out other things first.

While on the subject, I'm not aloof to the idea of opening it up; in fact, once I verified it is working, I already intend to go the SS/CF route and put in a replacement battery. I would just like to see that the thing isn't a goose egg before I go through the trouble and purchasing of parts.

Ok, so Tarkan has yet again come out with another badass product to keep our iPods on the road. This may be the best one yet. Now he made an adaptor that accepts two SD cards! It runs them in a RAID 0 array, and the best part is that they don't have to both be the same size SD cards. So this is a great way to expand your iPods storage, with SD cards you have laying around. My plan right now is to grab an extra 128GB, or a 256GB SDXC card and combine it with my existing 128GB SD card in my 5.5G iPod.

Ipod wont restore software missing?

Hi everyone,

well all was working well and then just as I was about to log off and chill out the ipod went wobbly.

The ipod has no music on it that is visible. However the about settings state that it is 148gb full, though clicking to the next page shows that there are 0 songs, 0 artists, etc...

Upon connecting to iTunes I am told that the ipod needs to be restored, but when I go through that process I am told that software is missing, or error 1429 / 1439.

Windows, upon right clicking for properties states the ipod is empty and doesn't recognise the ipod name, just refers to it as disk drive g: etc... If I double click the drive icon I am prompted to format the drive.

If anyone can give me a heads up on what's happening here I'd appreciate it. I have had no issues prior and it's been running fine all day long.

Ipod Classic wont sync with itunes

I have an iPod Classic 160GB. It has rarely given trouble, it has frozen a few times but quickly reset. Here's my problem, apologies if its in easy steps but I'm not that tech savvy.

1. I connected the iPod Classic to iTunes to sync new music .

2. ITunes does not recognise the Classic so it won't sync.

3. A message says Restore iPod with a warning that I could lose all my music.

4. I tried to manually reboot hold Centre and Menu buttons for 6 seconds.

5. The Apple logo appears but music doesn't follow, the message says DO NOT DISCONNECT then says OK TO DISCONNECT. But the iPod IS NOT CONNECTED.

6. Can anyone please advise what I should do.

7. Is losing all my music inevitable in order to restore the iPod?

Podcast quality and processing

Hey all,

Myself and a good fellow chap have just started recording a podcast and we'd be interested to know what peoples sound processing procedures are, how they go from a raw recording to published file.

I imagine some people don't need to edit their work at all, oh how I envy you! This is what we do currently;

1)We record the main file in Cakewalk Sonar (we're using a microphone each, but they're fairly close to each other as we're in the same room. There's some bleed, but that doesn't cause us too many problems).

2)We edit out all the nonsense and overlay all the music and jingles that we need and generally try and ensure the levels for the music are about right.

3) That's then exported as a .wav file which we open in Audacity.

4) We use noise profile, find a small section of silence (usually only a second or so) and then remove the noise based on that profile.

5) At this point the recording is okay, but is often quite quiet and inconsistent. So we employ a set of processing in the following order which is based on a video I found on youtube that seemed to have some good advice;

Phew! Once we've done all that (which for the 30 minute track time probably takes about 3/4 minutes) We export it as an mp3 using a Constant BitRate, at 160kbps, with 'Joint Stereo'.

Then end result is the published podcast which has been uploaded to libsyn and apart from the rss feed is accessible on iTunes under 'rick and paul heal the world' (Can't post a link as I'm new.)

As the audacity settings repeat a few steps, they seem to get more and more subtle and I'm finding it hard to tell the difference. I want maximum professionalism and hope we're on the right track. I'd love to hear what people think and see how their processes are different.

What's the oldest ipod you have?

For me it's a 2nd generation iPod classic. It came with a 10GB HDD and I swapped that for a 20GB HDD. I bout it off eBay for about $100 and it was in mint condition. It came with the carrying pouch. The ear buds, and remote were all seal in their pouches. I cut up an old Zagg Invisible Shield and made it to fit the iPod. I figured I'd keep it as nice as I can, while still enjoying it.

My original plan when I bought it was to swap in a 128GB SD card for the hard drive, but the iPod wouldn't recognize that. In the future I may try a smaller SD card.

Battery install problem

I just installed a new battery in a nano 3rd gen. It was successful in that the device works, but it will not take a charge or sync with my computer. Any ideas of what would be causing the problem? Oh, another piece of information– when plugged into an ipod dock on a stereo it does respond to the external devices' play/pause button.

Ipod Nano 6th Generation keeps pausing

My Ipod Nano 6th Gen keeps pausing, but not all the time. First the volume started going up or down on its own. I read on the forum it could be moisture in the headphones on the controls. So I replaced them and now it is pausing intermittently...? Any sugestions?

Gmail search on iPhone doesnt find messages that should definitely be there

I find my iPhone doesnt seem to sync properly with my Gmail. Whether all my mails get downloaded, I'm guessing they do but hard to say for sure since I have 200+ unread emails. For now lets assume that they get downloaded fine.

But when I'm searching for something it wont show up. For example I emailed myself something about my friend Tony earlier today. When I searched for it in my phone later in the day the only Tony references were 6 months old. But I've received emails probaly 10+ times in the last couple weeks with his name somewhere in the body.

This has happened lots of times with lots of different words.

Can anyone advise?

Ipod classic won;t sync

Music Question

Hi,

I have an iPhone 5 and a large CD collection which I've imported to itunes (yes, I am a dinosaur!)

After reading about all of the apple music/ios8 music issues, I've delayed upgrading, but with ios9!coming out, I'd rather not be 2 versions behind if possible. I'm not interested in using Apple music, and I'm hoping if anyone can confirm whether the issues with it messing up people's large offline music libraries like mine were isolated to those using Apple music or was it for everyone with ios8?

Shortcut To Shuffle/Unshuffle Songs

Hello, I have a:
• Classic White 5th Generation iPod Video

I like shuffling/unshuffling the current songs that are playing in my playlists. My genre playlist ordering is whenever I get a new song, I add it to the top of that playlist. So whenever I add multiple songs in a playlist, I put them on top where the first one is the newest addition. But also, I like to shuffle the playlist up and play a random song from there, no matter how old that song is, because I get tired of the new songs that I keep playing.

I'm sure that there's no shortcut combination of keys to set the Shuffle settings to play random songs, so I set it manually in the settings. Same thing with turning shuffle off from here. But is there a way I can make this iPod turn on/off shuffle easily with some firmware upgrade or something.

I understand, yes this is an old iPod, but I really like it. I don't want an alternative MP3 player that could do this, I want to do it with this one. Thanks

is this possible--partially randomized playlist

Hi all, I'm new to Applescript and am trying to decide if it makes sense to use an iTunes script for a project. Conceptually, what I want to do is simple, but I'm not sure if it's technically possible given that (as I understand it based on some research this morning) shuffling in newer versions of iTunes with Applescript is wonky. I'm using iTunes 12.2.

Basically I want to create a playlist that has a few tracks in fixed positions and about 20 tracks (randomly selected from a larger group of about 50) that appear in between them in a random order. Ultimately, I want to be able to burn audio CDs that have roughly the following track list:

Track 1: intro track [same on every CD]
Tracks 2-9: randomly selected tracks [different on every CD]
Track 10: middle track [same on every CD]
Tracks 11-19: randomly selected tracks [different on every CD]
Track 20: concluding track [same on every CD]

Is this possible with Applescript? Thanks for you time.

Purchasing new iPod Classic..?

So, my 5 1/2 year old iPod is on it's last legs. Imagine my surprise when I went to purchase a new one only to find out they were discontinued in 2014.

I don't wish to denigrate any sellers on "online auction sites", but can it be correct if they claim to have new iPod Classics "direct from Apple, and under a 90 day Apple care warranty"?

I really want another Classic, and could really use some advice here.

multiple destination destination map focused app??

Any suggestions for a "map focused" iPad to plan multiple destinations trips. Some notes re what I'm looking for:
* something like Google Maps on Web, but multiple destination (noting Google maps on IOS doesn't seem to allow multiple destinations)
* simple map based, or search based approach to add a destination, i.e. no need for mandatory additional fields like a lot of apps require
* not focused around trying to get you to book cars, hotels etc
* shows simple/short view/summary of the legs of the journey and distance/travel time
* visually show what leg of the journey a particular marked road is for (i.e. sometimes you use the same roads on a multiple destination map)

Can't use volume

I have an ipod classic 160gb and use it with a Fiio E6 amp.

Someone told me to connect the amp to the ipod via the bottom socket, lineout and power, to get a better sound, rather than connecting it to the amp via the headphone socket.

I bought the correct Fiio adapter and while it works perfectly I can now only change the volume via the amp and cannot alter it using the wheel which is far easier.

Is there a way round this? Thanks Simon

A few songs skip to next after playing about half

Some of the songs in my vast library of music won't play the whole song. It will just skip to the next song. If I start the song in itunes and then select a region after the portion where it always stops playing, it will then play. I also can play the song in the folder in Windows Explorer and it plays fine there too. So it's not the song file.

Some input. I always save the iTunes Music Folder when I make changes to my itunes such as making new playlists or adding songs. That way if anything ever goes wrong I can revert to those files (xml, library, genius, etc.)

So I think I have tracked it down somewhat to a bad XML file in the Music Library. If I delete the song from itunes that won't play, and then drag it back into itunes (or add it using File/add), it plays all the way through. Problem is, I lose play count and all the playlists. If I then close itunes and copy back the XML and Library file back into itunes folder (C: drive/My Music/itunes), I get the playlists and play count back. HOWEVER, now the file won't play properly. If I copy archived xml/lib files back from say a year ago, it also reverts to not playing correctly.

I'm not sure if this is related to my iPod rebooting itself on occasion (as I say that corrupt files (e.g. xml related?) may cause that to happen.

Anyone have some suggestions on how to keep play counts/playlists while also fixing the playback issue?

How to recover photos/contacts from password protected broken phone?

I shattered my iPhone 5c screen, it connects to iTunes, will allow backup but fails because my phone has a passcode. Front Camera Not Working

My front camera is not working which prevents me from using FaceTime and taking selfies. I had a cracked screen repaired and after the repair was finished the camera stopped working. The repair person then replaced the existing camera with a new one but it still would not work. An solutions?

Storage / Usage Issues

- I have a 4s and am having problems creating storage space. I had 560 pictures and after deleting many I am down to 202. I cleared them from the recently deleted folder and that created a lot of space but suddenly my usage went back to 0 bytes.

- I also deleted a most of the photos from my text (120 MB) and deleted incoming and sent emails with attachments. All of this created space that suddenly disappeared.

- My usage shows 12.7 gm with 0 bytes available

- I performed a backup earlier in hopes that it would free the space but that did not help.

I do not know of any other options. Please advise. Thank you.

How can I stop ITunes losing my home videos on IPhone

Hi.
Due to some issues with Windows 10, I had to revert to an earlier version.
When I installed I tunes, I had my Music library intact.
However, I had no videos.
I therefore hard sync'd my IPad and ITunes wiped all the videos!!
Now, I only have one set left on one of my IPhones.

Can anyone please explain in layman's terms how to ensure I do not lose these videos, OR how to get them on to ITunes, OR even to a file for the future.

Please note that these videos are NOT on the camera roll. They are stored in the Videos App on the phone.

Need help for merge of two libraries on same Macbook Pro

Hi.
First of all thank you for looking at this need. And more thank you should be able to fill this need. :-) . I am totally new at this forum.

What you need to know:
I am a classical music fan.
I have reorganized my library "1" (the original one) this way:
1- Wrote each composer name as for ex.: Bach J.S. ( 1675-1750)
2- changes "genre" for "Concerto", "symphony", "chamber", "Cantata" etc. so I can make better "smart playlist".
3- entered each CD and other music as "AAC" (not knowing any better)
4- entered all "artwork".
5- I have re entered each tract name Starting with the name of the composer first for ex.:
Beethoven "and leaving the title afterward as it was originally on the tract"
that could read: Beethoven symphony #5 : 1st mv: allergo

Now I have great earphone, and started to entered all my CD's and other music with "Apple lossless encoder" in library #2 for quality purpose. They are not modified in anyway yet and have no artwork. This represent about 35% to 40% of my total music. I usually download my music into my iphone 6+ with my library #1 but would like to have access to my "high quality" music.

The question after all this chapter is:
How can I merge them into my old library without duplicating?

Or would you have a solution to this?

can it be done with the CD number? (I don't see CD number in my choices)
a program like "super sync" for doing so will probably not recognize the same music as duplicates.
Mashduo If I get it right enters my 2 libraries as one. (or does it?).

Changing mp3 to podcasts for nat'l syndication?

Hi -

We have a radio show we've been archiving through mp3's. However, we've been told to consider switching up to Podcasts. Despite reading through everything we can find, my web guy and I simply don't know whether this is necessary to reach a better/nat'l audience (we are shooting for syndication) and, if so, whether to use something like Libsyn to set it up and then reach out to Stitcher and Zune, in the future.

We are struggling to make the right decision about hosts/servers, etc., and just want to make the best decisions for the best quality and easiest accessibility for the most reasonable set-up and price.

Ipod Nano 7g firmware 1.0.2 files, signature file needed

I hate iTunes and want to go back to Foobar2000 to manage my music. That said, my 7th generation has been updated to 1.0.4 and need 1.0.2 to work with Foobar2000.

I have downloaded the iPod_1.0.2_37A20067.IPSW file from another thread for the 7g, but get the error "Could not be restored because the firmware file could not be found" which I assume is from the lack of the signature file. Does anyone have the signature file for the 7g nano or have any tips on how to load up the firmware without the signature file? thanks in advance!
