Moving apps from a 6 to a 6s

Friday, I tried to transfer the iPhone 6 apps from the backup on my iMac to my 6s. Most have moved over, but several say "waiting." How to I get these apps out of the "waiting" mode and into the installed and working mode?

There is plenty of room on my 6s for the apps and the apps worked on my 6 fine. Both 6 and 6s were running 9.0.1.
