iPad 2 help needed

Hi guys I have wold ipad 2 been using it great no probs for the last few years then I decided after many months maybe I should update the software I was running on version 6 I think ..well anyway I updated it to 9.3.4. Now my problem is this the only games I have are candy crush and candy soda both of which are now crashing constantly either on start up or during loading or even during the games this is getting real annoying ...I have reinstalled them from the App Store Can anyone help please
