ipod album artwork disappearing

Ipod classic 7th gen ,some album artwork although ok on itunes library has disappeared when played on ipod , problem just appeared this week , have restored to no avail, have run scan, still no good , dont tell me have to go manually has there are more than 30 k songs, please help
