Tapatalk problem (I don't know where to put this)

I downloaded Tapatalk to my iPad but I can not reply I have to go on the browser to reply to my messages on Tapatalk it's asking for an username and password, well I forgot my password so I sent them my username for this board and it said it sent me a conformation email. NO THEY DID NOT! I never got any email! What's going on?
