I have iOS 7.1.2 and the latest is 9.2.1.
1. Is it worth updating to the latest iOS? My phone works just fine.
2. Is there a way to upgrade to iOS 8.0 instead?
3. Lastly, if I back up my current phone's state, and I upgrade and don't like it etc, can I restore the backup which would have iOS 7.1.2 on it ?
I typically don't update, but there's a useful free app that I use and they have a new version that requires 8.0 or higher. It's not a deal breaker mind you if I can't update etc.
Just wasn't sure how stable the new iOS, nor how well it works on my model iPhone....:questionmark:
