as i mention my ipod calssic will be 5 years old next month. ( i got it Jan. 2011) i almost never had any problem. any problem i had i fixed.
I will tell you though most of the time i do keep it plugged in. i do not go out with it like i uesed to because of an unsafe enviroment (a friend was mugged for his ipod and since then that kinda scared me away from going out with it) but now i keep it plugged in. now it was once stated and i do not know where that that can drain battery power if you keep it plugged in meaning that the battery life will get shorter. last May i flew with my family to North carolina on a plane. i was able to play a 70 minute album on my ipod on battery power on the plane and after that the battery icon hardly showed use. so im thinking that the ipod is not as delicated as the ipad when it comes to battery power. am i right?
