Sync Issues?

Have iPod 5 64Gb. I have a lot of music and audiobooks. Usually I just listen to books. The other day a got a few new books and everything synced as usual but when I started to listen to some music I found a number of albums that were just partials. Like Roger Waters In The Flesh only had one song in the album. Everything is there in iTunes just not on the device. What am I missing here?
