Windows xp itunes 9/ipod nano 6

So, i bought an iPod nano 6th gen. so i could get the iTunes songs from my Toshiba satellite to my desktop/other laptops, but it didn't work...:confused: :mad: ... can someone plz tell me why it doesn't work?
