Two of my children bought iPods today. They have the kid's under 13 Apple IDs through the Family Share. After discovering that their iCloud email addresses can't be used for iMessage or FaceTime, I used the Yahoo mail instead. Apple verified them as associated with my Apple ID. Will they be able to take them back when they are old enough not to be under my account? Just curious. It isn't the end of the world, after all, if they need new email addresses some day.
