Asking me to update software.

I've been getting messages when I turn on my iPad saying it wants to update a software, I forgot what it was but I remember it gave a choice, update now, later and more details. I wish I could remember what software it wants to update. I already updated once, now this is the 2nd time it's asking. Is there a way I can find out what software it wants to update?
