iCloud Photos and Photostream

I have photostream turned on for my Iphone, Ipad, and AppleTV. I was using my Photostream as my screen saver on the AppleTV and noticed many photos I thought were deleted from my Photostream. I've looked on my Ipad and Iphone and those photos do not exist. Is there somewhere else I need to look to remove these from my photostream?
