One iPod - Two PCs - Podcast problem?

Hi all,



I was happily syncing my podcasts to my iPod using my Windows laptop and iTunes.



Then I bought a new laptop and downloaded iTunes and attached my old iPod and it wanted to delete all existing content to sync the podcasts from that new laptop.



Is there any way to start using the new laptop and its copy of iTunes to manage the podcasts for the iPod, without erasing everything on the iPod?



Also, is there a way to globally disable automatic download of new episodes for existing subscriptions, without manually changing the settings of each podcast?
