iPod mini compatability

I sell/sold hundreds of iPods on ebay....A "buyer" wants to know if the mini conversion (32GB CF)I did will run on this......will the iPod mini work on OS El Capitan 10.11.5. will i be able to sync my music through iTunes?

I run windows and I'm not familiar with whether or not it will work....any help appreciated...
