Hello,
Newbie to the digital age of music.
I have an ipod classic160gb I bought about a year ago.
I haven't really used it as I'm not well versed in all this.
I have downloaded iTunes 11,
my first question is I tunes has iirc like 4 or five music compression/file sizes /formats aval.
Anyone want to put a description to each. as far as sound quality? I know with earbuds not to expect the same sound as my home system but I'll be using the ipod in the car also and not sure what compression/file format/size to use ?
next question is when using the bottom connector for sound output instead of the mini plug, does the eq settings go out through this connection also or is it "as recorded" I ask because when used at work it'll be hooked to a set of sennheizer RF160 wireless headphones that have no tone control, but figured using the line out instead of the internal amp. would allow the battery charge to last my whole shift.
and lastly, how would you set up I tunes to be loaded on the computer hard drive but the "library" load on another hard drive say an external drive.
is this possible?
Thanks for any help here. as I'm totally new to all this and the descriptions in the iTunes on settings ,I was just not understanding.
