PLEASE PLEASE forgive me for asking such a well-worn and cliched question, but i just cannot easily find the answer.
I was just given a gift a gift of an old iPod MC 297 ll. I tried adding music via USB and it fails to show even after restarts.
I read the f manual (RTFM!) and it indicates, tho not clearly, that all music MUST come from iTunes and must be AIFF format. Can this be my problem?
I am VERY familiar with a range of mP3 players, so I know my way around USB file management.
An answer would be nice. A link just as nice.
