iPod Touch 5th Generation Camera Quality

Hey guys. Is the camera quality of the photos comparable to iPhone 4 picture quality for the iPod Touch 5th gen? Does it just take clear enough pictures? I remember I got one of the first two iPod touch's when they came out and I believe the camera quality was a little grainy...Thank you. :D
