Restore Ipad

I bought a new iPad Mini last week and when I first connected it to my iTunes, I set it up as a new device and did not restore it from a backup (such as my last backup on my iPhone 5). I previously used my iPhone5 for everything but noticed that my apps are as if they are brand new and not at the point or setup as they are on my iphone5. For example, one of my games that Ive been playing awhile, I have alot of earned bonuses and levels achieved, but when I play that game on my iPad, everything is gone, so I have to play from the beginning.



Is there a way I can get that app (and any others) to mirror where I am at in that game on my iPhone5 to my iPad Mini?



I looked into doing a restore, but it doesnt seem to allow me to choose a date to restore - only the last backup.



Any info/help would be greatly appreciated!
