About 2 weeks ago I cracked the screen on my iPod classic, so I ordered a replacement. It got here I installed it, when I powered it up again the screen would stay white, I could hear music and hear the clicking when I moved the wheel but no picture, so I took it all apart again re-seated all of the plugs and nothing, i did this a few times to make sure. So I thought maybe I got a bad screen, so I ordered another one because they are cheap just to make sure and the same issue, I tried doing a reset holding middle button down and menu. I updated the firmware and reset in iTunes, nothing has worked so far.
I also replaced the audio jack/lock slide piece, Prior to this the only problem was the screen was cracked. So I don't know what I did wrong when installing it that may have damaged something else? I don't really feel like taking it somewhere and being charged 100 for something that cost 10$
