Ipod just changed all my artist pictures out of no where?

So I have had my Ipod 5th gen for a couple months now, and usually when I scroll through the artist section the picture used for the artist would be one of the album arts from that artist, which I liked.



So last night I had my Wi-fi on my Ipod on, and long and behold all my pictures in the artist section have changed. They are now ugly and I don't like them and I don't like being forced using pictures I don't like or choose. Why did this happen and is there any way to disable it?
