My iPod Classic with the latest update, as well as iTunes which is also updated; seems to have finished synching the iPod based on the summary pages and song count; but the "finishing sync" message in the sync status pane continues is continuing on for hours. It alternates with the "synching iPod Do Not Disconnect" message. I am a Windows user, also updated.
Should I just eject it? It is late at night and this has been synching for about 8 hours.
