I had to rebuild my iTunes library from scratch about a month ago and used Media Monkey to "rip" some of my music off of my iPhone to re-import to iTunes. The plan worked, mostly, except for the fact that I think that it messed up the syncing between my iPhone and iTunes in terms of not displaying the media contents of my iPhone correctly. For instance, it shows 34 GB free space on iTunes when in reality I have about 30 GB and iTunes won't show all of the current songs on my iPhone. I've attempted to erase the library and re-sync it several times, but I haven't resolved the issue. I've thought about restoring from a backup, but I'm not sure that it would help and, more importantly, I'd rather not have to waste the time doing it if there is a more simple solution. Is the key to the problem possibly Media Monkey and setting(s) there? Anybody have a similar problem and/or have any possible ideas on how to fix this issue, preferably without having to start fresh? Thanks!
