Ipod Nano 4th Gen, Menu Button Problems

I have a (Red) Product iPod Nano 4th Generation @ 16gb. For some reason, it works perfectly, except that the menu button will not work at all. If I want to change songs or artists, I have to restart the entire iPod. But starting today, it won't let me restart the iPod either.



Any suggestions as to why this is happening, and/or any possibly solutions to my problems?
