Transfer from old iPod to new

Hello,



I have a new iPod. I have an old iPod. I want all the music on the old iPod on my new iPod. I have a new install of iTunes with no music. I have some music on the computer with the new iTunes installation that I do not want on my new iPod or in the new iTunes installation. Everything I start to do makes me think my old iPod will be erased. I would really appreciate directions if it's possible. Thanks very much
