I have an Ipod Classic and have never had this issue with any files I've uploaded into it except with a particular folder I recently uploaded to my computer from CD's.
I ripped them as mp3's and they play back perfectly when I play them on my Winamp player but when I try to upload them into the Ipod some of them do not have the content that they should have. In other words if I upload, for example, files 01, 02, 03, 04 and 05, to the Ipod, 01 and 02 might come out fine but then 03 might have the same content as 01 when I play it back on the Itunes application and also when I listen on the Ipod. If I delete the incorrect file from the Itunes and then drag and drop it back into the Itunes it will still come out with the wrong info. on it. If one comes out wrong it doesn't matter what I do, it will always install on the Itunes incorrectly.
I hope this explanation is understandable. If not please as for more info. and I'll try to provide it.
These are files of speakers at a convention and it's frustrating to pick a file out to listen to a particular topic and find that I'm getting a completely incorrect playback.
