Good way to send pictures from iPhone to email?

I don't have an iPhone but my friend keeps sending me pictures that are either to small to view, or they're original size and many megabytes.



Is there a way that I can teach her to email the pictures in a large viewable size but compressed so that they don't hog so much data?



Also, a lot of times the pictures appear upside down and I don't have a right-side-up machine on my end. Is there a way to fix that?
