Since the update to iOS7, many apps on my iPod 4G are increasingly refusing to update themselves, saying I need iOS7, which I obviously cannot get on a 4G. I am not particularl bothered about this, as I am satisfied with the apps as they are.
However, what I do not really like, is the big, unsightly red circle next to my App Store icon with a number in it - a number which is increasing by the day - telling me that there are apps that need to be updated, whether I can update them or not.
So, is there any way I can switch that off?
