This is a sudden change, and have never had this problem with either of my 2 ipods over past 10 years.
Within an album the songs are listed in correct order. After playing song 1, it will seemingly randomly play the remaining songs from that album, and incorrectly identify each one as 2, 3, 4, etc.
I do not use playlists. Most of my music consists of live shows, so the change in order is particularly an issue.
When importing these I always number 1 of x, 2 of x, etc.
I tried deleting a few albums, checked info in itunes, and re-added to ipod with same result.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
