question about internet/computer.

i have had much internet disconnects becuase of a weak signal and other issues. one problem i had was back in March, the internet settings kept changing on me. but my computer was cleaned up after that. but all those experiences made me wonder can a computer get to a point where it can not have an internet connection? Wile everything works fine on the computer but for some reason, something happened to it where it just can not have internet. like the wifi is permently damaged or something? for a while i thought that was something that could happen with my computer. i do have the occasional disconnects but its with the internet service. i live on a Mexican island. the internet connection is not that good here. but if i am disconnected, i always make sure that others are disconnected too THEN i know it's not my computer.

but for a while it was my computer between March and July. Then we got a booster then my com ws connected again. the situation is hard to explain, really. but it was lookig as if my computer could've lost it's internet connecting ability. it doesn't look like that, now. even though sometimes the internet goes out occasionaly especialy around Christmas where theres so much traffic.
