I have an old iPod classic which I haven't used in a few years. Now before I always used to manage the music manually without syncing it to the computer. Now I want to do the total opposite, I want to sync it to my computer.
I have a HDD full of songs and I want to copy these over to the iPod but I think they may just cause loads of duplicates so I believe its easier to sync it from the computer. So I should be able to organise the music without my iPod being directly connected to the computer whilst being on the desktop and then at a later stage when I sync it just updates right?
So anyway if I don't have the music I have on my iPod on my computer do I need an extract software to take the songs off my Ipod to the computer? If I did this will the filename of the song remain the same as when I actually put this onto the ipod?
