Music folder transfer difficulties?

Hi, new to the forum & looking assistance for music file transfer to my itunes library / ipod touch 5th Gen please.....

For some reason when transferring some music folders from my computer to the itunes library the tracks appear individually on the library instead of in the folder I am trying to transfer?

This doesn't happen with all folders, maybe every 1 in 3 folder transfers.



What am I doing wrong?

Have tried consolidating the individual tracks but this doesn't work either, making the tracks virtually impossible to wipe back off the ipod.



Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated :)
